The hostel is very nice, our room was in a very decent condition, clean. The bathroom is okay, also clean. But the best part is the boss and his family, they are so welcoming and warm-hearted towards us - helped with everything, invited us for a dinner and gave us a ride to the underground station when we were checking out

1. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of action. There was a street food next door, with McD, Pizza Hut and KFC all within 05 mins of walking. There was a mall with a Walmart hypermarket at the underground level nearby. It is convenient for those who stayed more than a few nights and needed to provision for work in Dalian.
2. There is a university nearby, plus a hill overlooking the Dalian city which you can conveniently walk/jog up to in the morning/evening.
3, The room is sufficiently well spaced, the bed and pillows are comfy, the lights are decently illuminant, the shower water pressure strong and the temperature hot when you need it ; the room is well decorated, there is enough work space on the table, there is a fridge ; the basin, the toilet bowl, and the shower room are independent of each other. In other words, a well thought out room layout. The lighting control is well calibrated, the central air conditioning is quiet, there is a special pop-out plug points on the table for laptops and phone charging.
4. The breakfast is good, a bit of every kind, mainly Chinese dish but some Western oriented salad style vege/fruits for those who need it. Milk is available (not something to be taken for granted in China as milk is not commonly available)
5. There is a free laundry room for use, the detergent and softener are provided free-of-charge ; iron and iron board is available as well.
6. The hotel service is tightly run by its Manager who ensure the staff are always tending as soon as possible to the customers. A special thanks to reception staff 孙晓辉 for patiently helping out with China-specific app for about 30 mins.

the room is very spacious and clean with floor to ceiling window which gives a picturist view of the surrounding... in addition, it lets in plenty of natural light during the day and the view is so calming ..
the staff at the hotel are really helpfull and kind.. especially Mrs. Maggie was so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived at the hotel... and her afforts made our trip to dalian even more magical...
will recommend this hotel for others to stay.. and will be looking forward to return once again..

UUtente ospiteMy family and I were amazed at this hotel! Since we were in Dalian in the dead of winter, I booked a hotel that my family (wife and 4 year old boy) would want to spend hours inside. This was just that! We booked the family room and when we came in, it was already setup with the special lights on full display! The gym was better than my local one that I overpay in, the pool was remarkable, and the food looked incredible. The only reason we didn't eat dinner was because we had local friends that took us to local restaurants. The location was terrific, right next to it were a bunch of delicious local Japanese restaurants. Absolutely book this hotel and if you're with a family book the family room! I want to give a special thanks to Bob 王旭 for going out of his way to make our stay even more special!

Questa è la prima volta che ho soggiornato al Castle Hotel con la mia famiglia. Sebbene l'hotel non sia di recente apertura, l'ambiente interno ed esterno è molto pulito e le strutture sono complete. Il soggiorno è molto buono e i bambini e gli anziani sono molto contenti. Il servizio personale in stile maggiordomo è stato completo. Poiché la nostra camera non includeva la colazione, il personale ha visto che avevamo bambini e anziani, quindi ha servito la colazione in ogni camera. L'hotel è così grandioso e gli ospiti sono ancora più generosi. Ancora più importante, sebbene l'hotel sia in montagna, l'hotel ha delle auto a batteria per prendere e riaccompagnare gli ospiti e il trasporto è comodo. KKeithWe stayed at this excellent hotel for three nights during our first visit to Dalian in May. The room was very clean and had some very useful amenities such as a refrigerator, clothes washer and a bidet toilet. It was very convenient to wash our clothes and save money.
The staff was very helpful and kind. Mr. Chen helped me find an excellent Thai massage spa (Tai Baba) nearby and helped us get taxis. We are especially grateful to the manager Mr. Leon. He left his busy post at the front desk and walked with me several blocks to get medicine for my wife who was briefly ill.
We opted for the Chinese breakfast all three days and it was very good. However, the western food selection was limited. That was not a problem for us because the Chinese food was delicious. We are from the USA.
Mr. Leon recommended an excellent Japanese restaurant (Konoha or Jiuye) with a huge menu selection in the same building. We ate there twice and there was a waitress who spoke fluent Japanese. There are many Japanese restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Also, the hotel is located near a shopping mall with a huge food court on the top floor. We recommend Chinese and foreigners to stay at the Shan Shui S Hotel when visiting Dalian. It made our trip to the beautiful, friendly city of Dalian memorable.

MMarcus JSÈ stato un soggiorno molto piacevole qui durante il fine settimana che precede il Natale. Bella camera con una fantastica vista sul parco del lavoro. Colazione molto buona, caffè eccellente e la Paulaner Brauhaus ha organizzato una magnifica festa di Natale. Il Kempinski stabilisce standard molto elevati e non ha deluso.

Per cominciare, abbiamo ottenuto un upgrade della camera e il check-in anticipato e il check-out posticipato. L'hotel ci ha anche offerto caffè e frutta gratuiti subito dopo il check-in. La camera era pulita, confortevole, moderna e aveva una splendida vista sulla città. 如果在客人入住酒店時對整個設場館設施再做介紹、在有小孩入住的房間準備小孩沐浴露、拿走茶几上的易碎物品就更好了☺️
帶父母帶小孩來一定不會讓人失望、一次愉快的住宿體驗👍
