The woodworking alone took 15 months of meticulous carving, with all guest rooms and public spaces crafted from over-50-year-old wood. Specializing in traditional woodworking, local Dali artisans from Jianchuan hand-polished each piece, supplemented by imported natural wood wax oil for care.
