The Manimahesh Hotel(Govt. Hotel)

Hotel Mani Mahesh is a 7 year old property set up by the HPTDC. Located at the end of a lane that is hidden from the main bus stop area in Dalhousie, the hotel is a pleasant looking old building with much of its work in wood, giving it a typical hill bungalow appeal. The reception cum lobby area is small with a set of stairs going up to the rooms and another set going down into the restaurant situated in the basement. Rooms The 18 rooms in the hotel are divided into 2 Super Deluxe rooms, 5 Deluxe rooms, 5 Semi Deluxe rooms and 6 Regular rooms. The Deluxe room is compact with carpeted floor, wooden ceiling and a great view. The room has two sofa chairs, a study table cum dressing mirror, satellite television, telephone, cupboard, luggage rack and an attached bathroom with a shower cubicle, geyser and amenities like soap, towels and toilet paper. The Super Deluxe room is a two room set - a living room and one bedroom. The living room has a sofa unit and a dining table for two. A door interlinks the two rooms and the bedroom is done in the same setting as the Deluxe room with the same amenities. This room, however, has a wooden floor, wooden ceiling and is slightly bigger in size as compared to the Deluxe room. The attached bathroom has a bathtub, geyser and soap and towels. The Semi Deluxe room is a smaller room with basic decor and facilities. This room, however, does not have a wooden ceiling. The bathroom is also basic and has a shower area, geyser with amenities like soap, towels and toilet paper rolls. The Regular room is really basic and is located in the lower basement of the building. All the facilities and services provided in this room match upto the other rooms except the lack of view from the room. The bathroom size and facilities are also the same. Please note that room heaters are provided at an extra cost. Dining Hotel Mani Mahesh has a spacious multi cuisine restaurant with a seating capacity of 40 persons. The tables and chairs are well distributed.
