The Art Bank

Beautiful, colourful b and b. Wanted to stay longer but.... things to do. We stayed 5 days for civic week. My husband comes from there and I can honestly say it's the best place we've stayed at in the last 10 years. Mandy and Angela are amazing. Ang is a great cook and you can choose separate items for your cooked breakfast, plus porridge, seasonal fresh fruit, cream, yogurt, cereals, fruit bread toasted, yummy. We were always so full. Delicious. The van gogh room was lovely, with en suite. So very colourful, light, big window. I loved Mandy and how very open, honest, friendly and hard working she is. We will be back next year . Highly recommended 👌

Lovely little B&B, warm friend hosts, bright spacious clean comfortable room and an absolutely great breatfast its a little gem of a place and would stay here again anytime absolutely.

Loved our huge Van Gogh decorated bedroom and great en-suite. Lovely and light with huge window. Breakfast, great range of choices. You couldn't leave hungry. Downside was that we were unable to use the TV because of the Sky set-up. Only catered for two users at any one time. However, we weren't there to watch TV. Hosts, Mandy and Dan were very accommodating and welcoming, as were their three dogs. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect halfway stop between northern England and Glasgow. The service was fantastic, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with a lovely artistic touch. And that incredible Scottish breakfast - just unforgettable!

Highly recommend staying here excellent location, very clean and tidy. Breakfast options were superb and breakfast was lovely. Mandy was so accommodating as we got held up on the way so arrived very late and she was happy to wait up for us. Thank you!

Expertly managed by the owners, the Art Bank is a great choice to stay in this area. Close to all major landmarks and bestiful nature in this beautiful part of Scotland. Immaculately clean and comfortable rooms. A sumptuous breakfast complements this 5-star B&B
