The staff’s management was very poor.
Starting from the check-in area on the 2nd floor — there was no queue system, many guests were waiting, but there was only one staff member checking people in.
When we went upstairs, no one guided us to the hotel. We stood waiting for over 10 minutes.
At the check-in point, the staff took us to a room in another building — right next to rooms that were under renovation. The smell of paint was so strong and irritating that it was impossible to sleep.
We tried calling the front desk from the phone in the room, but no one answered. Eventually, we had to contact them via WhatsApp. They told us to wait a moment, but after that, there was no update.
We ended up having to go downstairs ourselves. There was no receptionist in that building, so we had to walk to another one. We had to insist on being moved to a different room. It was very inconvenient.
Another issue — they lied to customers.
They tried to get us to book the hotel’s dinner buffet by telling us that all the restaurants upstairs would close at 6 p.m.
We specifically asked, “Even the noodle shop at the front — does that also close at 6?”
The staff said, “Yes, all of them.”
But when we walked to ask the shop directly, they said they closed at 8 p.m.
And sure enough, in the evening we saw many restaurants still open until 8.
We really don’t understand why they had to lie to customers like that.
On top of that, one of the staff downstairs took our phone and gave a 5-star review on Google Maps without our permission.
