Mondi Lodge

We had a wonderful week here at the Mondi Lodge on Curacao. Thank you very much to everyone who makes this place the incomparable holiday destination that it is. Great people, cozy palapas, great breakfast, great facility. Super dushi. Masha danki... ;-) Jeanette and Fatih

Mondi Lodge is a unique travel experience. It is quiet and small, hidden in a little jungle enclave. Each cabin is unique. They ar simple but comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfasts were stellar, and the staff awesome.

We stayed in the tree house it was lovely! It is quiet, breakfast is fantastic and Janice is the sweetest! Really loved it! There is an area where you can bbq and cooked of you don't feel like going out! The location is further from Williamsted hustle, closer to Westpunt & al. Perfect for us! If you are looking for a peaceful haven, this is it! Be prepared for mosquitoes... my hubby was fine but they adored me!

We found it: our little paradise in paradise :) our family of four travelled to Curacao in February 2023. Our kids Valentina & Konstantin (9 and 5 years) loved it so much, because of the wonderful gardens full of animals. Every day they feed the donkeys, watched the birds and cuddled Charly the cat. We all loved the amazing breakfast and the coffee/hot chocolate bar all day long. In the evenings we cooked in the outdoor kitchen with view to the lovely pool, while the kids jumped in. We also went 3 times to our most loved eating place in the evening: Niffo Huts (just 6min to drive). Some beaches are really close (5min drive), the most wonderful beaches are only 15 to 30min away by car. Just around the corner you arrive at the flamingo view point – you can see those lovely animals in their nature environment – just amazing! We stayed to times in Mondi Lodge: first we had the „Flamingo palapa „(4 nights), after a short stay in Willemstad we came back and stayed 6 nights in „Kunuku palapa“. Every one of them is unique – absolutelly great :) For us Mondi Lodge is really something special because of the wonderful people there: thank you soooooo much Danita, Janine & Ben as well as Danita´s lovely parents! Out little son felt in love with Danita, the owner of Mondi lodge (not only because of her beautiful tattoos :)) - she is such a warmhearted, interesting and wonderful person – we really miss you!! We stayed in Yuana the treehouse for a week at Mondi Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the staff and animals. We appreciated all of the hospitality provided by Danita, Janine and Ben. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable about Curacao. We had to miss breakfast because we had to head out early one morning to hike Mt. Christoffel. Danita was kind enough to make us Yogurt Parfaits for the road that were absolutely delicious. I had an unfortunate incident with my phone where it was malfunctioning. The staff went above and beyond to find an electronics store where they sold the product I need to fix my phone. We loved the outdoor shower it was delightful. The AC worked very well and effectively but we really didn’t need it most of the time. Loved lounging in the hammock and relaxing in the upstairs open air lounge in the evening. You definitely need bug spray though. We took advantage of the cooler and mini fridge for beverages to enjoy and bring to the beach. One of the reasons we chose Mondi Lodge was its central location, with easy access to west beaches, Westpunt and a quick drive to restaurants downtown and the nearby grocery store. It was a very unique experience, we would give it more than 5 stars if we could.
