All'arrivo tutto sembrava bene. L'hotel era in ordine dall'esterno. Ci sorprese un po' che l'hotel fosse essenzialmente sull'altra parte della galleria dall'aeroporto. Quando siamo entrati nell’hotel, il lobby era bello con un bar e un ristorante tutto sembrava andare bene. Quindi abbiamo deciso di controllare. Tutto è cambiato non appena siamo entrati nell’antico ascensore. Non appena le porte si aprirono sul nostro piano, ci fu un odore nel corridoio, e ci sorprendevamo ancora di più come l’odore si potesse rafforzare, mentre facemmo scendere la sala e entrare nella nostra stanza. La porta era sporca e sbrigliata, e noi guardavamo intorno, e sentivamo che la stanza era semplicemente uscita, e i mobili non erano puliti e molto usati. Quando decidemmo cosa fare mia figlia guardava fuori dalla finestra e per la nostra sorpresa ci erano circa dieci vecchie matite sporche rivolte accanto al dumpster (sì, questa è la nostra opinione) Questo era il finale e abbiamo deciso di tornare al desk front e chiedere un rimborso. Il manager era molto bello e non c'era alcun problema con un rimborso. Il rating 5 stelle su questo hotel è VERY miss leader. Stai lontano e spendere i tuoi soldi altrove. Questo non è un $300/ notte camera.

Il mio primo viaggio a Maine era sorprendente. Questo hotel era bellissimo. Capisco che apriva meno di un anno fa. Il lobby era bellissimo, gratis colazione, e una notte felice con bevande e cibo. La sala era bella e così ben guidata. E' ovvio che i designer di questo spazio capivano l'importanza di massimizzare lo spazio. Era uno dei pochi hotel che non avevano un orologio d'allarme, che è così redundante in questi giorni. Ha avuto una camera con 2 letti, molto morbido e spazioso. 3 notti stand, zona cucina, spaziosa bagno, grande cassetto, spazio per desk ...in realtà, era una permanenza perfetta. 10 minuti al centro di Portland!

My wife and I came to Portland Maine to visit family. We stayed at the Sheraton Sable Oaks and we were very pleased we did. I would like to thank Chris Merriam Exec Chef for his kind and generous hospitality. What a gentleman! Meg Poulin Sales Manager happened to come by our table just to say hello. Imagine that? And Suzie our waitress took very good care us. Through our conversations we determined that between the three of these wonderful people there was over 90 years of hospitality expeience at this single property. Can you imagine? That ”is” the testament of this matchless property. We...will...be staying there again. Thank you all

Penso che dopo 20 soggiorni negli ultimi 8 anni, dovrei scrivere un recensione. Viaggio principalmente per l'attività, anche se l'hotel è più utilizzato per le vacanze familiari. Per quanto ne so, è l'unico hotel nel centro di Portland con una cucina che è il vantaggio evidente. Un altro grande plus è la posizione. Anche se l'hotel è sul popolo frontiera idrica, è sul bordo orientale. Il parcheggio è meno difficile per le strade e anche, si sente meno come se si trova in una zona meno congestionata. La promenade orientale è un blocco lontano dove c'è un grande cammino e cammino. La questione finale che mette questo hotel a parte gli altri è il personale di fronte. Sono incredibilmente accoglienti, amichevoli e gioievoli. Questo è stato un modello negli ultimi anni, e non sono abbastanza sicuro come attraggono e mantengono un personale così buono. Infine, se vuoi sapere qualcosa di Maine, il barista Greg ti riempirà!

Got walked from the property because they had no rooms available even though multiple of us had a confirmed reservation for a room. Would not have been a big deal if they booked us at another property but they said “everything in Portland is booked.” We had to find our own accommodations . A very poorly managed property

We stayed at the Homewood Suites (Scarborough) as part of a sports group. I checked in online the day before and my room was ready by midday. When I arrived I was given keys to the room and made my way to the room. Most of the hotel staff went above and beyond for our group. We had an early morning game and the breakfast staff came in an hour early to have breakfast prepared for us. Amazing! The rooms were clean and had all of the amentines needed to cook meals if we needed to. Having a full size referigerator is great. Beds were comfortable. And for all of those who need a fan at night, there is a ceiling fan. I was so excited! Like I mentioned, breakfast staff was wonderful. They offered eggs, bacon as well as bagels, yogurts and more. Sue at the front desk really made the group feel welcomed. And would do anything she could for us. Thanks for making our stay great!

We booked this hotel while on our roadtrip of the east coast thinking we could trust the hotel brand name. It was in a great location but our experience was less than ideal to say the least. First, they report that they REQUIRE you to do valet parking and pay $40 for it on top of your hotel cost. This was annoying but we moved on from this and were excited to get some sleep. However, there was BLOOD on our sheets in our hotel room! We called the front desk immediately who said they would bring us new sheets right away and hung up, didn't show much concern for there being blood by the way. No one came for over 30 minutes, called again, they said they would send housekeeping and hung up. No apologies, no concern still. Housekeeping showed up and changed the sheets (thankfully) but still then put the pillow with the bloody pillow case back on the bed. We were exhausted and so over it at this point so we just went to bed but so incredibly frustrating that the hotel did not care that there was blood on the sheets in a ”clean” hotel room. Terrible experience. We will not stay at this hotel chain again.
