Club Seabourne Hotel

Very nice grounds, with a pool and a few hammocks Extremely clean rooms. Good breakfast is included. Most important is the staff is extremely attentive and courteous. Carlos, the manager, is awesome. I called him a few times before arriving, and he answered all my questions He made our stay there amazing

Nested on the foot of a hill with beautiful and lush vegetation it is ideal for resting. Personnel is very attentive and helpfull. There are a bar and a pool, but only breakfast is served. Decent breakfast, with expresso and capucino served but not included. Small bathrooms and towels, dish tv, no phones (not needed anyway). If you have a bad knee, ask for the lower bungalows. A good experience. Fully recommend.

Loved everything about this place! Incredible staff, comfortable cottage, great breakfast, beautiful pool and nice outdoor lounge/bar area. The people here are wonderful! You will need a car or golf cart to get around, but that’s part of the experience. Gorgeous views. I will absolutely be back! Thank you all!

Definitely the nicest logging on the island. Pool was well maintained, the AC worked well, and most of all the staff was amazing. Carlos the GM is truly a hospitality professional and went out of his was to ensure we had a good experience. Laishla was also such a sweetheart! We fell in love with the island and this is definitely the place to stay! I do recommend you consider renting a golf cart or a car as it is super close to the shops downtown, but definitely would be a long walk. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a beautiful cottage with balcony and a comfortable bed. Room well appointed; bathroom with plenty of towels and a nice shower. Carlos, the manager, was consistently helpful and provided shuttle service and great conversation. We'd recommend renting a car or golf cart; we did walk back to the hotel from town one evening after the heat of the day but it's a long hike. The pool was a great amenity. A good plan is to go out to a beach in the morning or towards the late afternoon, and hang at the pool during the midday heat. The bar and bartenders were lots of fun! This side of Culebra is quiet and peaceful. We liked our stay!

To start with the positive, the GM, Carlos, is a calm and helpful presence for the hotel guests. Now to explain our true experience. For the price of the rooms, the state of the lodging is outrageous. It needed a major upgrade, floor tiles coming off, ceiling exposed pipes, old couch, toilet coming off wall, doors rusty and not fully closing, to name a few. We could not hang out in the room due to this state. Granted we were given a room with no view behind the main house since we needed a two bedroom for us and two kids presumably but nonetheless, the state of the lodging is inexcusable for the price we were charged. More like a hostel. The island is beautiful so if we could do it again we would look more heavily at air b n b. All this to say that Seaborne management should spend some of what they are charging on upgrading the rooms so that guests don’t feel so demoralized.

Stayed for Thanksgiving week from Wed to Sunday in Family room/cottage. Here are my reasons for 3 stars: Property ground 4 stars Food 2 stars Staff 4 stars Value 2 stars Property ground 1 stars (read more below) Overall 3 stars Property ground Well landscaped, remote location, plenty of parking, pool area looked pleasant. However, you could not use any of the amenity area due to mosquitoes. Place is beyond tolerable with mosquitoes. Couldn’t stay outside for a minute before getting eaten alive. This very thing simply ruined our vacation. This unfortunately was true for the entire Culebra, some locations were better then others but overall this was simply bad…really bad. Food Breakfast was included but nothing good. Been to other Latin area/county and had some of best “local” breakfast. Here they try to mimic American breakfasts but miss the mark. Bar was fine but again couldn’t enjoy drinks due to mosquitoes. Staff They were tentative and always pleasant. lady that we interacted most with didn’t speak English well so we had some communication issue but got through. Value Paid over $400 per night for family of 4 to stay in family room. It is their higher priced room. So, i figured it will be situated/views/etc accordingly. Nope. It is arguably the worst positioned room with absolutely no view. We had view of parking and roof of main building. When we checked in, one of room A/C didn’t work, it took little but they were able to make it work. No hot shower. Water wasn’t cold but no hot water. We managed. We’ve chartered fishing boat, rented car for entire stay, did beaches, eat at most of restaurants, did shopping, did diving (highly recommend Culebra divers)…spent good money for our Thanksgiving and place is beautiful, however, unless they fix the mosquitoes problem we will never come back. By far this was the worst experience and hate that this hotel is getting this review but it is impossible to have fun when you look like you have chickenpox.

I Love this place,beautiful landscape,beautiful cottages,nice spacious villas,free great breakfast,close to the town,peaceful place to rest after a long day at the beach.I will definitely come back.Special Thanks to NIVEA from the restaurant she was excellent.

What a great quick weekend getaway. Club Seaborne is a super cute resort with cute clean villas, a lovely pool and grounds, and yummy breakfast. The evening bar was open with a super friendly and attentive bartender and they served some excellent tapas. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have nothing negative to say. The stay was excellent and I will be back.
