Suitree Experience Hotel

I can't say enough amazing things about this place. I really can't. I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to come on and say what an incredible staff this hotel has. They have truly gone above and beyond in every single way. They have made my 2-year-old daughter feel like a princess, they all remember her name, and Johnny even picked her a bouquet of flowers! They arranged a rental car to the hotel for us so we didn't have to go and pick one up. The airline lost our luggage and their assistant manager, Mary, lent us her personal one so we could safely get our daughter from the airport to the hotel. Kenneth, in the restaurant, was so, so sweet and joyful. Paulo, the manager, was truly exceptional. Johnny, jeez, what can we say about him?!! He is the best!! The place itself is such a unique, one of a kind experience that you can't get anywhere else. Book this place. Thank me later. I have high standards and can be a little snobby, so when I come onto Tripadvisor to write a review, you know it is good :)

We have loved our stay here! Rain or shine, it is a spectacular place. The staff treated us like celebrities and the food and drinks were wonderful. There were storms in the area but we were happy to sit on our deck and look out across the beautiful mountains and jump in our private pool in the rain. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I highly recommend it!

I can’t say enough about this place that is tucked away in the rainforest. We came here to start our honeymoon and I promise we will be back. The views are breathtaking and the hospitality was off the charts. The lush green scenery is unlike anything I have ever experienced. The Taru restaurant was amazing with quality food and so delicious. I can’t rave enough about the experience here. If you are looking for nature and beautiful quiet views - this is the place!

Truly an extraordinary experience with breathtaking panoramic views above the treetops. Our room had a wraparound terrace where we spent a lot of time. Having a coffee in the morning as the sun came up, reading with a glass of wine in the afternoon and looking at the stars and moon in the evening. Every staff member was wonderful, we feel like we made new friends. In the morning and afternoon, for breakfast, lunch and making us cocktails while at the swim up bar in the pool, we would see and chat with Brandan. In the later afternoon and for dinner Kenneth was on site for dinner and cocktails. Kenneth has created an innovative and interesting cocktail menu, and it was fun to try different drinks that he created. We met the manager Johnny in the evenings who gave us great wine recommendations and we had enjoyable and interesting conversations with him about Costa Rica and the area. The kitchen is amazing. All the meals were fantastic. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant every day and did not get weary of the menu. We will be back for another stay at Suitree on our next trip to Costa Rica. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so memorable.

If you are looking for a beautiful small boutique hotel experience and complete relaxation, this is your place! I have traveled around the world, and I have to say there is something special about this hotel. The people knew our names and provided amazing service with a personal touch making us feel like friends and family. The food and drinks were great and made to order with local fresh ingredients. The view from our treetop bungalow was breathtaking! I could not get enough of just sitting on the balcony taking in the sights and sounds of the forest. This is a great hotel for staying amongst nature and having a home base for excursions or just getting away from it all and relaxing. While we were there the hotel arranged massages as well as a nature hike for us and both were great!

Definitivamente es un increíble lugar donde permite desconectarse en medio de naturaleza y tener una experiencia totalmente diferente. Les recomiendo hacer el tour de la “mula”con un guía el cual los llevan a conocer toda la zona conocida cómo las pilas que son cataratas. La coctelería es bastante buena, escuchen las recomendaciones del bartender, les aseguro que no se van a arrepentir, nosotros tuvimos suerte de desayunar junto a los congos que llegaron a visitarnos en elxrestraunte. ⛰️🍹
