Cuenca: i migliori hotel con palestra

We love EXE hotels and have stayed in them all over Spain. This one is another excellent example. Modern, nicely designed rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Minibar, air-conditioning, toiletries, et cetera (but no safe in this case). Ultra quiet rooms thanks to great window insulation. Breakfast is exemplary offering a wide range of foods on the buffet. My husband adores the apple cake offered by many EXE hotels. It is quite a hike to the historic old city, 50 minutes on foot uphill. Luckily, there is a bus stop just down the street with buses heading towards the old town (numbers 1 or 2) every half hour and every half hour (number 1) in the other direction to the Fernando Zobel AVE train station which is about three kms out of town. The last bus from town is 10pm. Not the prettiest part of town but it is well located for getting to where you want to go. Ideal if you have a car.

The location, view and history surrounding this place was amazing. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable equipped with a safe and mini fridge, and accessible by elevator. The meals in the dining room were very good. The downside is the air conditioning in the hotel was not turned on which made our nights hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. Our room was on Floor 1, a small parking lot outside our window. When the air conditioning didn't work, we opened our window to get some cool air but other customers were outside chatting and smoking late into the evening. Ask for a room higher up! The 16th century convent was not available for viewing as it looks like they are working on some restorations, so that was disappointing however, we walked across the bridge to town and got lots of history there. The drive up to the Parador was ”interesting” on steep, narrow streets. If you book this hotel, you will definitely want to reserve a parking spot in the garage even though it costs extra.

We loved our stay here! We chose a premium room with views. We could see across The Valley from our room and over to the Parador hotel. The room itself was well appointed and comfortable- with radiators (essential for cold December) and aircon. The bathroom was spacious and had a really nice jacuzzi bath as well as a shower. We were in room 1. I suspect if you could choose the room 2 would be the best one as it seemed to have multiple windows. I would highly recommend the breakfast. Lots of choice (pasties, bacon, eggs, cheese, ham, wide selection of fruit) and great coffee. The bar was nice too, we had a snack there but did not try and downstairs restaurant. Downstairs is also where the spa is located. We booked a hour slot at reception and enjoyed the facilities to ourselves. The hot hub was really nice and there are saunas there too and well as some basic gym equipment. The staff are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Parking was over the road in a public carpark where hotel residents get a small discount. It is well located for exploring the old town. Highly recommended!

Questo hotel è nella nuova parte della città in una delle periferie. Ci sono molti parcheggi liberi fuori strada insieme ad un fermo di autobus per l'autobus in città. Sono in una sedia a rotelle e potremmo entrare nella zona commerciale in 15 minuti. La vecchia città è a circa 10 minuti di taxi o a piedi su una collina molto forte. Le camere pubbliche e le camere da letto dell'hotel sono leggere e aria. La vista fuori è meglio di quella guardando l'hotel! Il personale della reception è molto utile e l'altro è buono. Ci siamo trasferiti in un weekend, quindi l'hotel era molto vuoto e il pranzo serale è stato servito nel bar, ma è stato eccellente. Uno dei migliori pasti che abbiamo avuto in questa visita a Spagna. La colazione è servita nella sala da pranzo e il buffet è eccellente con una vasta gamma di carni fredde, formaggi, frutta e pasticceria. Se si chiede il pasto caldo del serbatoio sarà cucinato per voi che molto più appetito di quello standard di cibo cucinato stirare sul lato. Penso che l'hotel è più di un hotel d'affari durante la settimana, ma è stato grande per noi. L’unico ****** era che se sei un utente di sedia a rotelle, c’è solo un letto nella grande camera accessibile, questo non può essere diviso in due letti singole. Le mie gambe si sparano la notte, quindi mia moglie ha bisogno di un letto separato, quindi ho dovuto prenotare una stanza separata per lei. Sembra piuttosto ingiusto. La stanza era ben attrezzata con facile accesso a sedie a rotelle e una porta scivolante nella stanza bagnata, che è grande. La zona della doccia ha molto limitate tracce di grattatura e mia moglie doveva seguirmi nella doccia per mettere la sedia dietro di me. Non c'è posto fisso nel doccia che è vergognoso. In un hotel molto bello con molti bar e ristoranti vicino e ancora più nel centro della città.
