The Grove Cromer

We Stayed in “The Bungalow” which we found had a nice homely feel. We went to the main house for an evening meal and although was a bit tricky to get to as my wife is disabled but with a bit of preserving was manageable we felt the relaxed atmosphere , the ,evening meal was excellent. Would have been a nice touch if a bottle of wine was complimentary on arrival Thank you

What a cracking little find. We found the Grove very last minute and thought we booked a hotel room but was very lucky to get one of their cottages. Staff were excellent, food was very good and the accommodation was spotless. The pool was also a nice extra and very clean. We will definitely go back next year.

The Christmas package was excellent - food was delicious and accommodation very comfortable as was the bar and lounge area. Credit to all the staff too who were very welcoming, efficient and clearly enjoy their roles as demonstrated by their charming and pleasant demeanour.. We will certainly come again when the weather is less foggy!

We had a wonderful overnight stay with an exceptional dinner. The welcome was warm and very natural in contrast to the efficient, trained welcome of the big chain hotels. Being shown to your room makes a real difference. We were lucky enough to be in Room 5-something I shall remember for other stays. Dinner was first rate with an interesting, different and tasty selection of wines. We enjoyed retiring to the lounge and sitting before the fire feeling very much at home. As my wife says, it is more like going to stay with your friends than at an anonymous hotel. I would add but friends who really know about hospitality at its best. I had an enjoyable swim before breakfast which helped create some room for the top class breakfast with some of the best sausages that I know. We live in Norwich and were only away from 1000 on one day until about 1500 on the next but it was such a restorative break. To be repeated! Thank you to all the staff who made us so welcome.

We’ve been taking weekend breaks at The Grove in Cromer for almost 20 years and have always been made to feel very welcome and part of the family. We’ve just returned back to The Grove after a break of 4 years and are wondering why it’s taken us so long to return. Staff most welcoming and efficient in a very friendly way, our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed top class dining. It was our first stay in the main hotel having previously stayed in one of the cosy self catering barn conversions. Can thoroughly recommend Cromer and the Grove Hotel

An amazing stay yet again. Staff are attentive, evening meals and breakfast delicious and the rooms are always clean and have everything required for a pleasant stay. Parking on site and only a 10 minute walk to the coast. I always look forward to staying at The Grove.
