Non capisco le recensioni negative qui. È un bellissimo hotel con un sacco di arredi elaborati che danno la sensazione di essere in un lodge europeo. La stanza era spaziosa e pulita. La pressione dell'acqua era super forte, quindi spruzzava fuori dal lavandino, ma la doccia era fantastica. Non è lontano dall'aeroporto, ma non è molto vicino a niente di degno di nota. Tuttavia, poiché non avevamo programmi, abbiamo semplicemente camminato fino al centro di Crawley attraverso tutti i quartieri e i sentieri incantevoli e abbiamo trascorso un bel pomeriggio mangiando more fresche dal sentiero e facendo un Pub Crawl(ey). Una volta tornati all'hotel, c'è una meravigliosa grande area erbosa in cui i bambini hanno corso tutta la sera mentre io bevevo pinte ghiacciate dal bar. È stato perfetto.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno incantevole in hotel, ci sono stato la notte prima di un volo da Gatwick. La camera era pulita, i servizi igienici erano fantastici e il letto era comodo con una bella vista sul cortile. Il personale è stato molto disponibile con il parcheggio e l'aiuto con la tessera magnetica, e una bella reception, bar e cortile con personale cordiale e un arredamento gradevole. Di seguito sono riportati piccoli cavilli, ci tornerei: Alcune delle informazioni sui pasti erano fuorvianti: al bar, un signore ha scoperto qual era la zuppa del giorno, poi mi ha detto che il cibo non veniva più servito... e poi 20 minuti dopo ha preso le ordinazioni e ha servito un pasto ad altre persone. Un po' strano. La mattina mi è stato detto che il servizio della colazione sarebbe terminato alle 9:15, quindi non sono entrato alle nove e dieci e ho preso solo un caffè quando sono andato al ristorante della colazione, ma è emerso che le 9:15 erano solo l'ultimo ingresso: due pasti persi! È stato un peccato che quando ho prenotato la spa non fosse stato pubblicizzato che la piscina sarebbe stata fuori servizio. Il WIFI era un po' discontinuo. E la mattina non sono sicuro per chi fosse la musica a tutto volume che veniva suonata nel bar alle 9! Un po' presto per Burn, Baby, Burn a tutto volume! Tuttavia, per il prezzo in particolare, era l'ideale e molto vicino a Gatwick.

Tutto perfetto per questo hotel. Molto comodo per l'aeroporto di Gatwick. Colazione molto buona. Camera molto pulita. Vicino alla stazione di Crawley, evitando la necessità di tornare all'aeroporto di Gatwick per il treno per tornare a casa.. consiglierei vivamente questo hotel.

Non c'era una bottiglia d'acqua in omaggio, il lavandino è troppo piccolo e l'acqua del rubinetto schizza fuori quando si apre.

Posto orribile, non andarci

La posizione era fantastica. L'hotel era incantevole, il personale molto cordiale, la camera era essenziale ma soddisfaceva tutte le nostre esigenze, l'unica critica è che la doccia non funzionava. Nel complesso l'esperienza è stata positiva, torneremo sicuramente.

Nice breakfast and bar area. Plenty of parking available

A clean and welcoming hotel but very dated; felt like we were in the 1970’s but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was all we needed.

The room was smell of damp no heating on it was freezing cold weather only the location was good rest was terrible

When booking, I requested a room close to the elevator, but on checking in, late at night, I was told to go to a building behind, no lift, no help dragging my bags from the main building over to the building the room was, no help dragging them up the stairs. Worst hotel experience ever, I would never do it again

I had read a number of quite poor reviews so was a little dubious - parking was said to be an issue but we had no problem's. Cleanliness was also flagged but again everywhere was fine - yes the place would benefit from a freshen up but it was absolutely fine. Also had read the beds were awful but I slept like a log and the breakfast we got included in the price was decent too. WiFi wasn't available in the room for free which does feel a bit poor these days and use of pool etc also carries a charge which was unexpected. Overall fit for purpose if the location works for you

Awesome spot, i felt like i am in a fairy tale, very quiet, almost enchanting area, inside the place is open and spacious, with cool festive music, the old style doors and tablea and sofas almost made me feel i am in a harry potter spot, very clean with tea, coffee, nice towels and soft comfi beds

Booking this hotel was a last minute thing , I REGREATFULLY HAD NO CHOICE DUE TO me being on a budget , The night in question was My second stay at this hotel . Staff are basic at best ,I was given 1 key although the room booked for two and the paper work provided stated I would have two , minor issue though , The room was bitterly cold ALL NIGHT the windows did not shut properly the cold coming in was horrible the heating if you can call it that was 13’c maybe 15’c it was like trying to sleep on a building site next to the m25 and the draft coming through the main door was made easy by the inch gap under the door I would of used somthing to stop it but being as cold as I was and only have 1 large 1 small towel it not not come to my mind to use that on the floor as I needed that to dry myself after a shower which was the best thing about the room , The tv did not work AT ALL I tried everything for some reason it was unplugged and un-tuned what hotel does not have working tv’s . I had 3 hours of Mrs scream a lot in the room next door , Then at 3 am someone decided to hoover for all of 60 seconds. Then at 8 am just as I was nodding off again KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK , maintenance “is everything ok with your bathroom I.e the plumber we need to get in to check , I said NOT A CHANCE nothing wrong leave me in peace . Then 9 am 10 am and 10.23 I had the maids knocking on the door asking what I was doing and when I was leaving , I replied 11.59 am I will vacate now if you don’t mine I have a long drive ahead and iv had no sleep . I went to reception in the night no staff was about to be able to tell them the tv is not working ,or the fact I did not want a round floor . I did however speak to a nice lady and tried to explain my awful night but she said Because I booked with trip.com I’d have to complain to you ,this was the worst night in a hotel iv ever had To have my door knock by staff is outrageous the temperature was diabolical, What do I need todo to obtain a refund as even the basic of a tv and warm heating where not available
