Logis Hôtel Imago

We booked this hotel as an overnight stay while travelling further south and it was a great choice. Hotel Imago has a charming new owner who is very keen to carry on the great reputation of this hotel. The position of the hotel is wonderful with great views of surrounding countryside. Our room was on the ground floor with a small and quite private terrace. The room itself was compact but not tiny. Comfortable bed and great shower. The weather was glorious we were able to dine on the terrace and the 3 course menu had a good choice and was delicious. All in all a great stopover.

Ourselves and 7 other couples stayed at the hotel for a week. Despite only owning the hotel for a short while, Stephan, our host, was very welcoming and professional. The rooms were spacious and very clean with very comfortable beds. We were very grateful for the air conditioning as the temperature soared to 30 degrees. The balconies from all the rooms have fabulous views across the valley towards Chinon. The on site restaurant serves typical French cuisine of a high standard, the breakfast is continental freshly baked on the premises. We stayed as a Lotus car club, so safe parking is very important to us which the hotel provided. We can't praise hotel Imago enough and is a perfect hotel for any car club visiting the Loire region. We will return.

Great hotel and host. Comfortable room with maisonette space for the kids. Beautifull view from the terrace and balcony. Menu basic but good. Only recommendation is a better kids menu. Would definitely recommend

An interesting approach to the hotel that raised expectations. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The views from both the room and the dining terrace were lovely. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was well stocked. Recommended.

Hôtel idéalement situé, à la fois simple et très confortable; accueil chaleureux et très professionnel, chambres parfaites avec balcon et vue très étendue, restaurant de qualité, excellentes viennoiseries au petit-déjeuner. De plus, gestion parfaite d'un groupe de 14 personnes en demi-pension. Et tout ce bonheur pour un prix très raisonnable; A recommander pour visiter la région riche d'histoire.

Sehr nettes Hotel mit freundlichem Team in der Nähe von Chinon. Ideal als Zwischenstopp im Loiretal. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli. La chambre était spacieuse. Nous avons apprécié le balcon et la vue sur la vallée. Rien à dire sur le petit déjeuner.

Excellent hôtel pour un séjour au calme, permettant de visiter Chinon et ses alentours. Restauration de grande qualité avec une carte variée. Équipe très à l'écoute des clients. Je reviendrai sans problème.

Arrivés à 16h45 à l'hôtel, porte fermée, l'heure c'est l'heure pourtant on nous avait bien regardé de la fenêtre à l'étage. Pour l'hôtel, chambre correcte, vue dégagée, ménage concernant le lit baclé, draps même pas retendus... Pour le restaurant un menu avec trois choix, de jolis noms qui font envie, le patron qui insiste fortement sur le tout fait maison.. Lorsque l'assiette arrive un peu surpris, plats très basiques, un filet mignon dur et sec servie avec pomme de terre au four huile olive, citron, bizarre les pommes de terre au four, recette spéciale. Parmentier d'agneau, caviar d'aubergines très écoeurant, le poisson identique les deux jours, le plus simple était le taboulé comme à la maison aucune recherche. En dessert le financier amandes, nectarines caramélisées, coulis de pêche, le financier très sec quant aux pêches loin d'être caramélisées.. Une nourriture industrielle revisitée à la façon du chef pour le fait maison.. Le soir le service est très rapide comme cela à 21h30 à peine extinction des feux, établissement fermé. Comme pour les horaires de diner 12h 13h c'est un peu juste. Dommage pour des jeunes repreneurs qui veulent s'investir, mais il y a beaucoup à revoir dans leur façon de travailler pour perdurer.
