I love green and nature and my husband loves the beach. This resort is the perfect balance so we both could have what we wanted. The paths from the room to the beach were beautiful with greenery all around. The beach itself was amazing. The food at the buffet was alright and when we did the reserved dinners at the restaurants the food was amazing. When we went to the seafood restaurant the chef prepared the "Four Fish" dish and it was the best Mahi Mahi I have ever had. We will definitely be going back to this resort.

Oncelikle otel eski. Checkin sureci uzun surdu. Her sey dahil otellere onyargiliydim fakat otelin ouanlari yuksek oldugu icin denemek istedik. Fakat bizi hic tatmin etmedi. Yemekler gercekten lezzetsizdi. Cocuklu ve kalabalik aileler icin uygun fiyatlı bir secenek olabilir. Tek olumlu yorumum dive center icin. Gercekten guzel bir deneyimdi

Beautiful resort very friendly staff relaxing atmosphere
Only down side was the buffet food was very land and few options. The royal gave a wonderful option for a private restaurant in which we enjoyed,
The beach is also being washed away but it is a good swimming area, The nightly entertainment was not worth staying up but the grounds are so peaceful you can always find a nice spot to enjoy a beverage

Wonderful service. Clean. Food was good. Beach was fabulous. Amazing fun DJ at the pool. Can’t wait to return. But air conditioning was not good.

This was our 8th visit to Occidental Cozumel in the past 5 years. We love the resort, the amenities and most of all, the people. The staff remember us by name upon arrival and do their very best to accommodate our every need. We truly consider them our friends. We look forward to our next adventure with Occidental Cozumel.

An average stay but probably wouldn’t return to this resort. The resort itself is beautiful in a traditional architectural style however very limited options for food, very limited entertainment and guest services.

Staff and service were amazing! Only one option for meals, which was a buffet for all meals. The food was excellent and many choices, but the same options everyday. You were allotted speciality sit down restaurant options for dinner depending upon how many nights you stayed. This had to be booked in advance. Speciality meals were excellent. Not much entertainment. Great activities for kids.
NYE party was very fun and great entertainment.

It's a romantic resort with buildings surrounded by jungle. Big comfortable rooms. Half of the beach was washed out some years ago by a hurricane. However, the sandy ocean bottom, clear water and a lot of fish makes snorkeling a daily activity. Good food and drinks selections and friendly associates together with nice shows every evening will make your vacation very pleasant. The dive center on sight is great too.

Went here for a quick scuba trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Ala cart restaurants were a little tricky to reserve but every things else was great!
