Chalet del Carmen Coyoacán

Location was great! Quiet neighborhood, but within easy walking distance of all the action Coyaocan has to offer (street food, artisan markets, museums, etc.)

This small guesthouse is perfect for the traveler who doesn't need constant service. The two of us stayed in the Carmen Room on the second floor, which has a large window facing the street. The room is mostly filled by the king bed and is five steps away from the shared kitchenette (microwave, toaster, sink, coffee). The room has a hot water kettle which I used for tea every day. There's a filtered water dispenser in the hallway which was super convenient. The house is walled off from the street like many of the houses in this area and is secured with a locked gate. It doesn't look like a hotel from the outside but inside it has two shady courtyards. On the other side of the street is a city bike rental station. Un endroit charmant, une hôtesse disponible et avenante, une chambre et un lit confortables, un petit déjeuner très convenable el la possiblilité de cuisiner des repas. Bref, cet auberge, située dans un quartier paisible et facilement accessible, est un endroit parfait pour un séjour à Ciudad de México!
