The square with the Cour Cheverny church a quaint peaceful village in the Loire Valley is the perfect base from which to explore the royal residences. The semi-timbered building has just undergone a complete refurbishment. The rooms in the former Sologne coaching inn have been imbued with contemporary comfort and charm. The Les Trois Marchands Restaurant dates back to the 19th century and has remained faithful to fish and game specialities in its stylish continuation of tradition. La nostra camera era molto carina piccola ma con tutti i comfort. Il bagno grande con un bel box boccia. Ottima la colazione, con un ampia scelta di dolce e salato. La cena nel ristorante dell'hotel non male , ma un pò caro. Per quanto riguarda l'hotel ci ritornerei in un'altra occasione. Consiglio l'hotel per chi si reca nella zona visitare i castelli

Un bell'hotel con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, camera deluxe spaziosa ma peccato per la vista e per la posizione di fianco all'ascensore. Pulizia buona incluso il bagno. Bella doccia spaziosa. Peccato per l'assenza sufficiente di prodotti per il bagno, delle ciabatte, degli accappatoi, di una mensola all'interno della doccia per appoggiare i prodotti del bagno. Ristorante all'interno dell'hotel molto buono ed un buon rapporto prezzo/qualità. All'infuori dell'hotel a Cheverny in sostanza non vi è null'altro. Alle 21 max devi cenare e poi a letto.

Poor service and the place had no one around to assist during check in and check out I.e 9pm and 6.30am. Luckily some one passed the main door or we would have been standing outside for a while as the entry after hours is only through your room key card. The place didn’t feel alive and welcoming.

We had a great stay here. The refurbishment is excellent, very well decorated. The standard rooms are comfortable if a little small - but really missing a kettle or coffee machine, the restaurant is excellent, great choice of local wines. Overall would recommend.

This was a fantastic end to our holidays (23rd July). We had a family room (2 interconnecting rooms) which was great. The beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. A great choice of cereals complemented with nuts & dried fruit. Lots of bread, pastries, croissants & lovely jams & honey. Nicest sausages & bacon I've ever had in France & the scrambled eggs were so fluffy & creamy (not the usually dried fare you get at a buffet). Also homemade fromage frais & fresh fruit salad. Great to also get proper espresso coffee & hot chocolate. The breakfast is expensive (€16 adult/€12 child) but so worth it. The only criticism I would have is that you'd hope for freshly squeezed orange juice at that price. Finally, the hotel staff were all very friendly & helpful, particularly the very efficient lady on reception & lovely lady who served breakfast. Will hopefully return next year & try dinner as the terrasse looks beautiful.

well located in the centre of cheverny, rooms are well decorated but not the most clean one you could find, there are cockroaches running around..... breakfast options are good the staff are very friendly

Friendly people and good service. Hotel is old fashioned but does have its charme. We booked 2 rooms . One luxe and one classic and you will need to measure in cm to find out if luxe is really bigger. For me this is stealing money. Restaurant food ok. Breakfast rather poor. Toaster but no roast. Opens at 8:00 but eggs etc arrived at 8:30… Conclusion: you pay too much and get too little

The hotel is superbly located and has a well trained staff that speaks English besides French. The restaurant next door where breakfast is served offers dinner as well both of which are beyond excellent!
