We had never been to Ballybofey before but thanks to our stay in Villa Rose we will be back again. Rooms spacious & beautifully decorated. Dinner & Breakfast were delicious. Lovely ambiance from the reception & bar including the spa. The staff were all so courteous, friendly & full.of typical Donegal humour. Plus having the use of the leisure centre in their sister hotel Jacksons was an added bonus. Lovely walks nearby

Stayed in Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey fir one night break.The hotel has an excellent location ,lovely breakfast with a large selection to choose from.The bedroom was large and comfortable just for the pillows they were so hard making it difficult to get to sleep.The view was to the carpark which was safe to park car The spa can be accessed inJacksons hotel Would recommend this hotel

Attended the Villa Rose for their annual Christmas party night.So well executed and the meal was amazing.Nothing was too much trouble.Sinead organised everything beautifully.It was a special get together to celebrate the big birthday of a family member.They put us in a tremendous room with the most comfortable bed and a double spa bath.We had Prosecco and chocolates waiting to greet us and Netflix on the tv.They are the most friendliest efficient staff I’ve ever encountered.I cannot say enough about them.The bar staff were so nice.This hotel is owned by the same people who own Jacksons hotel.Its only a stones throw down the road.Catherine who organises the stays at Jacksons is one of thee most lovely young ladies I’ve ever met.She deserves high recognition for her hard work and kindness to the customers.They all do.Well done to the Gallen family for running your hotels so perfectly.I only wish I could stay even longer next time.We are already planning next yrs party.I applaud you all ♥️Thanks for making us feel like superstars.

My partner and I have just returned from a 3 night stay. Our first impressions were that the hotel is nicely decorated for Christmas and the reception staff were friendly and check in was straight forward. Our room (152) was beautifully decorated, relatively quiet and spotlessly clean. It was very warm but we turned the radiator off and kept the window wide open throughout our stay and it was a more comfortable temperature. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful, the only thing that would have made our stay better was a smart TV, as we were there to chill and wouldn’t be big drinkers to sit in the bar all evening. We had an iPad with us though, so we were fine. We ate in the Forge Bar all 3 nights and the main courses were really nice, unfortunately the desserts didn’t reflect the quality of the mains and we only had them one night. The cocktails were amazing, the staff were friendly and service was quick. Breakfast in Faras was disappointing, the pastries were fresh and tasty, but we ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup…these were pancakes from a packet that had been warmed up, with quite anaemic looking bacon. The breakfast staff were attentive and friendly, however we went out for breakfast the next 2 mornings. The thermal spa was very clean and the staff there were friendly and welcoming. Overall we had a pleasant experience in Villa Rose and would recommend to others.

The Villa Rose is a lovely hotel in the middle of the city centre and rooms are nice and clean staff and friendly and helpful, not much parking spaces. Food is fantastic would recommend it to people who like the city, prices are reasonable for the restaurant food would go again.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the villa rose the customer service was excellent and the staff went out of the way to make us feel very welcome. The food was top class especially the desserts and the entertainment and drinks to go with it was great. We love it every time we stay here and can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful experience! The food was excellent (the pints even moreso). The 2 bartenders that were tending to us, Andrew and Jordan. Abigail was a star too. We enjoyed a lovely pizza and burger meals, everything cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back.

Hi our names are Philip and Irene reid we stopped at the villa rose to stay the night and it was the best experience form checking in too the room the hotel looks amazing well furnished clean and tidy as for the food wow. Lastly the staff were fantastic
