Tru by Hilton St. Charles St. Louis

Stayed one night with family. The common area was nice but the AC was not working and it was uncomfortably hot there and in the hallways. Fortunately our rooms' AC was up and running. The room was ok but unusual in that there was significantly less furniture, no closet and nothing hung on the walls. The bed frames were out to get us. They came out too far at the bottom around the beds and got each of us in the shins at least once. The bathroom was fine and if the AC worked in the lobby it would have been great. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

I travel quite frequently and am a Hilton Honors member. TRU Hilton has by far been the worst Hilton I’ve stayed at. First there wasn’t any soap in the room. Then the table by the bedside was cheaply painted red which transferred on to my note book! The room was extremely loud at night. Service was definitely lacking. For $280 a night it wasn’t worth it. Definitely would not recommend this hotel

Just needed a one night stay with my husband. As he was working 3 events on Beale st. Plus wanted to see a late night comedy show. He pre checked us in prior. He said we the cable wasn’t working and got started to turn the get up. The room was very nice and clean. I liked the modern look and feel to the place. I did have to call guest service about the cable not cooperating. Eventually, I fixed it. The codes they had in the lobby wasn’t the best. I loved how they had a pool table and an area to lounge. They have snacks and other beverages you can purchase. The staff was hit n miss as far as their friendliness went. Loved the idea behind the soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom. They are pet friendly as well. I’d advise if you don’t want to look at backyards. To ask for a room facing the Main Street. Check out is at noon. Breakfast from 6:30-9:0. I’d suggest getting there decent early as items get picked over. I’d definitely return it’s a great spot when you’re wanting to encore the shops, entertainment, and restaurants nearby.

Very clean! That’s number one for us. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. It’s a minimum hotel for sure. Smaller rooms. No microwave, minimum towels, tiny desk no coffee maker. Had a fridge though. Lobby is very nice and has a pool table. Had a nice size shower though. Very cute. It’s good for a one night but not if you plan to stay longer. Just no room. Friendly at check in.

I’m in town for one night only for business. I’m a Lifetime Diamond member, so I’m always on the look for a Hilton property. This location is excellent, there are plenty of restaurants and places to walk to for dinner. This property feels fairly new as everything is in really good shape. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

My bed had stains,hair in the shower and in the bed..my pillows cases had blood on it..toilets had stains and hair was floating..my room had a bad smell… why the cover on my bed look like someone layed on them..I don’t recommend staying there

I stayed at Tru by Hilton St.Charles St. Louis because of its location near the Concert venue. I stay at the Hilton hotel chain whenever I travel and was happy to learn that Truly by Hilton St. Charles had an room available. I had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Fox News was on the TV during the flaccid free breakfast, which makes the environment inhospitable to LGBTQ+ and fraught for allies and their families. Extremely offensive and insensitive, especially considering I was staying at this hotel for a convention at which there were many people being actively persecuted by Fox News.
