Mediocre breakfast.  Otherwise good.  Located in the same compound as Novotel which  has a better restaurant

Don't book this hotel. They've charged an additional city tax of 1500 XOF per night which is in NGN 1100 ... So they should've charged me about 2200 NGN but they took 4000 from me... This is fraud.

酒店離機場近, 有班車接送, 性價比高. 和裏面的Novotel共用一個庭院, 環境優美, 共用健身房. 酒店服務熱情周到.

這家宜必思相當不錯,酒店工作人員親切負責,房間整潔方便,周邊是各國大使館,街道乾淨,相當安全,酒店往後走五分鐘就是海灘,離大超市SUPER U也很近。

Absolutely horrible experience with Ibis ! I am an Accor member and I booked a room for myself after I arrived by air in the morning and finished a full tour here in Cotonou via the ALL app. Also, my booking was not refundable and was shown on the app that it was paid. When I reached the hotel, the front desk person told me in a straight face that, sir I see your reservation but we don’t have a room for you today. I was like, and ? He said no room for you. I have then shown his my reservation, my app confirmation suggesting the room has been paid. But he claims that no the room was not paid and there is nothing he could do. Then he just gave me the hotel manager’s (Luc) email and ask me to write to him. After a long day, I was tired, this situation to me, especially booked via their official app, was truly unheard of. Also the front desk person just gave me, don’t look at me look and asked me to find another hotel myself. This was truly unprofessional and there was no apology from the start to the end. I am still verifying whether my credit card has been charged for this booking. But this experience was OMG, truly not responsible and not putting their customer first. Thus, I hereby share my terrible experience with them and hopefully it will not happen to you if you wish to book with them.

The location is the best feature of this place. However, you can't walk to the airport, you still need to rely on their shuttle service, which for me arrived very late when I was already about to hop on a taxi: very disappointing first impression! The room was small but clean. The breakfast quite nice, with excellent chocolate pastries. The WiFi is horrible, as it kept disconnecting.

Very Poor Customer Care, small rooms and ill mannered staff. However, one do enjoy the vicinity and facilities of Novotel hotel since ibis is situated in its premises, that’s a Plus Besides the NO CARE attitude, Ibis Cotonou in particular doesn’t care to oblige All Accor members, Accor membership benefits means nothing to ibis apparently. I had my reservations, done online via Accor App cancelled by ibis on multiple occasions for no reason. Accor however do help in following up with the hotel, but one has to go thru the trouble of having a backup plan as iBis may ask the guest to leave anytime. All Accor shall remove ibis Cotonou from its membership to say the least

I had one specific request, my invoice should have the right address on it. Never mind the lacking utilities or the non existing toiletries, all I wanted was that the invoice for my company has the correct address. I spent one hour with the clerk at the desk upon arrival to make sure they have the right address. Then when I needed to check out, the new clerk deleted the address and put another one. When I said this must be corrected, he said to give him 20 minutes, I gave him an hour. When I came back still no invoice. He assured me that they will correct it and send it to me via E-Mail. I travel back home, and nothing. I called over 25 times this last two months and nothing. I sent E-Mails, I contacted locals and still nothing.

The hotel is very close to the International Airport. The beach is at a walkable distance. The standrad hotel rooms are clean and neat but small in size. The hotel staff is well mannered and friendly. Good for business travellers. The hotel and its surroundings is quite peaceful and well maintained.

Pros * Clean room. * High-speed internet * Function like AC, hot water etc. was good. Cons * Some staff were too friendly. * Minimal variety of food at the restaurant. * Room is not very wide. Conclusion * There was no major problem. Their service matches with their chares.
