Apartamentos El Guarapo

Another great stay at El Guarapo. All good from the information provided ahead of arrival, the welcome and efficient admin at Reception and the allocation of a first floor apartment as we requested. The apartment contained all we needed for comfort and for making breakfast and snacks if required (we ate out every evening). Plenty of space, storage, kitchen utensils and appliances and a comfortable bed with mattress topper and good bed linen. Shower was excellent and always a good supply of piping hot water as the apartment has its own water heater/boiler so you aren't impacted by other guests using supplies. Air conditioning not required as windows can be opened to keep a good air flow, although that might not have been sufficient during the recent abnormal heatwaves! We found the pool area much quieter than on previous visits - more sunbeds available and we never had any issues. Pool itself was cool due to the lively winds but the area around the pool was clean and the vibe chilled. Cleaning ahead of arrival was thorough, during our stay towels were changed every other day when the apartment was also given an interim clean (bathroom cleaned, floor mopped, bins emptied) Easy to keep tidy between times as you would probably do at home - this is not a 5 star luxury hotel so expectations should be set accordingly! The location of El Guarapo is excellent being close to Playa Bastian, a selection of good restaurants, supermarkets, bus stop and an easy 10 minute stroll from the centre of the action in CT. We see no reason to look for alternative accommodation when we next visit Costa Teguise. Thanks to all concerned

El Guarapo apartments reception were very informative, even before we got there they were sending me messages and I asked for restaurant recommendations and they were very helpful. You can check in before you get there and we were given a complimentary drinks voucher, it was just for beer or soft drink. The snack bar was very small, it had one beer pump which was Heineken and my husband had a pint and it was a bit flat so we didn’t bother again, although I got a cocktail a tequila sunrise 6.50 euros which was very nice. They sell large bottles of water but double the price of the shops 4 euros. There’s a Spar which was 5 minutes walk, we got drinks and rolls there for lunch and ate out for dinner in the many restaurants nearby. El Guarapo is a great location, quiet but not far from the lively busy parts. We enjoy a great curry at Namaste on the seafront and Peskera is a seafood restaurant further up the beachfront, which was also great and recommended by El Guarapo, we would definitely eat a both restaurants again. We also ate in Rock Cafe restaurant which was nice, we mainly had drinks in there though, as they had great live music. Beach/pool towels are 10 euros each deposit which you get back at the end of your stay, but they are a bit faded, tatty, probably in need of new ones. The pool was adequate size, but could do with a lick of paint, it was very quiet and chilled, there’s no Sunbed wars here, which was what I liked best, no worries whatsoever about getting a sun lounger any time of the day. They could do with more umbrellas round the pool though for shade. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, hob, microwave with an oven and there’s a filter coffee machine with filters if you want to buy filter coffee for it. We found a nice little French patisserie bakery just near the apartments called Damien, 23 Av. Del Mar and we would go for a walk and get a lovely coffee and a pastry in the morning. The apartments are a 10 minute walk from the main shops and bars etc, out the front door turn left and then there’s a little walkway round the back of the apartments which is a shortcut to the main area, you can take a longer scenic walk if you turn left out of the apartments and go down the road to the seafront and turn left and you can walk all the way on the promenade along the seafront but that takes about 25 minutes. We asked reception to book a taxi to the airport for 05:00 hrs the day before, the taxi didn’t turn up and luckily I had the foresight to ask the receptionist for hr number just in case as no one is there at that time in the morning. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and will be booking for next year in Costa Teguise, I would come back to El Guarapo apartments again and definitely recommend them, but I would like to try a hotel next time with a bit more going on. If you like peace and quiet then El Guarapo is for you.

Lovely stay Staff so helpful. Do not miss the breakfast best we’ve ever had on holiday. Location ideal few minutes walk to beach and few minutes to supermarket shops and restaurants. Apartments so clean and comfortable felt at home from the moment we arrived

I booked into these lovely apartments for the last 2 nights of my 10 day holiday in Costa Teguise. I had spent the first 8 days in an awful hotel and couldn't bare to stay there any longer. I so wish I'd spent my whole holiday at these apartments. Spotlessly clean. My apartment was poolside. It was big with a lovely bathroom and comfy bed. The staff were polite and helpful and kept in contact by whattsapp. I had a free welcome drink of my choice on arrival. The breakfast choice was great and all freshly prepared. Pool area and sunbeds were nice although I didn't go in the pool as the weather wasn't great. Apartments are a short stroll away from the 'square' . Easy access to the local buses. The only downside was the pool bar closed in the afternoon and re-opened in the morning. As a solo traveller I would have liked to have chilled out in the evening with a drink. Not sure if this was because it wasn't high season or whether it shuts in the afternoon in the summer months too. Wouldn't put me off going back though.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with a decent sized balcony. Peaceful, and only a short walk for a pre dinner cocktail :-) Lovely, friendly staff. I would highly recommend this for adults who prefer to be just off the busy areas. We experienced yucky weather, so did not test the pool and bar.

Lovely, clean spacious apartment. We were lucky enough to get an apartment overlooking the pool. The best part about this holiday was the amazing breakfasts..honestly so delicious and plentiful. See pics of just a few of the ones we ate! The pool was cold but on a hot day is perfect. Location is fine but you do need to walk to get to the centre of Tequise. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at El Guarapo for the first time in March last year and loved it so much we returned this year. It did not disappoint. The apartments are comfortable and clean with frequent changes of towels and bed linen. They are in a quiet road but only a few minutes' walk to supermarkets, restaurants, beach etc. I recommend these apartments to anyone who wants a relaxing environment with easy access to the busier areas. We will return.

Lovely place just had a week there, clean two girls on reception helpful and really nice all staff we nice approachable and pleasant. Everything you need in apartment good location just a stroll into town .we had a lovely holiday here definitely stay again peaceful quiet well kept all staff nice.
