Hotel Siroco - Adults Only 18

Todo genial! Personal super amable, la habitación muy completa, desayuno genial, instalaciones excelentes. Volveremos sin duda!

Los apartamentos serenity valen la pena. Muy nuevos y amplios. El desayuno podría mejorar, con algo de variedad saludable, todo era para público inglés. Y por mucho cartel que hubiera, a primera hora hamacas reservadas aunque no estuvieran en ellas en horas. Faltaría algo de supervisión en este sentido.

Awful staff. So unfriendly and unwelcoming. Everything was too much trouble for them. Food was very average and the 'chefs' would argue with guests!! No AC in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel. We were there during the unprecedented floods. No help given to guests when rooms got flooded. National emergency declared but it was everyone for themselves as far as the staff were concerned. All the guests rallied round ourselves and helped each other.

Disappointing. Booked premium apartment. Nothing premium about them. Stained walls, noisy road, no air con, no iron...both of which you can pay extra for. Asked for late checkout when booking direct with the hotel. On asking at the hotel, this was not available...despite checking online and seeing multiple rooms available. Breakfast ok, no quality in any of the produce. Staff shouting at each other was a common occurrence. Dora who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Pool area in serenity section is very dated.

We decided to return to Club Sirocco after our last visit in 2023 and loved it then and have to say loved it even more this time .What made the difference was as before stayed in the Serenity side but this time had a apartment on the opposite side 1108 and got the sun on our terrace from around 11am all day making it warmer to sit out and eat or just to sunbathe. The Apartment could do with a bit of a refurb but I think they are starting to do that . We had a couple of things that needed doing and after letting reception know we're quickly done. Only downside and no fault of the Sirocco was that a hotel been built nearby and it was started in 2020 as we know because we were staying at the Sands across the road were that noise started at 7.30 and woke us . Apart from all that would we recommend Sirocco [Yes ] .

Upon arrival had to wait for our room to be ready, but that’s fine didn’t mind waiting as it was not 3pm When we got into our room it was ok, I was surprised at how dated it was, and it was not particularly clean, we were only on a 2 night stay so was not going to complain. My bed was very soft and every time I turned over in the night it squeaked The pool was very cold but clean. We stayed on a bed and breakfast rate and breakfast was amazing plenty of choice and quality was good. It snack outdoor menu has lots of choices however it states from 12-6pm don’t be fooled it closes at 3pm and as we didn’t know and ordered a few minutes before 3pm they would not take our order. I’m surprised at the age of 90% of its guests all are of retirement age and it did make the feel of the hotel to be a retirement residential home. Receptionist is s lovely and professional. The walk into teguise centre is about 15-20 minute walk. Our bedroom wardrobe doors would not stay closed We were constantly plagued by pigeons that wanted to sit on the balcony with us. Not my thing!! The hotel does need a revamp it’s though they have patched up areas not actually paid attention to detail and used the correct materials. I know the elderly seem to be returning guests and I suppose for them they like being around there own age. Would I stay here again no… it’s my personal preference and don’t meet what I’m looking for in a hotel. If you are of pensionable age and like it extremely quiet and to be around your own age then this may be a perfect option for you. Tip: no lifts to any rooms
