Playamarina

We was in Playamarina in June 2022. We had 3 rooms in total 6 adults and 2 kids. Pros: + rich all inclusive (good snacks, good drinks and alcohol like Malibu, Ballantines, Smirnoff, Bacardi etc.), + nice pool with slides for kids and jacuzzi, + amazing beach close to the hotel, + nice entertainment each evening (thanks to animatoras), + free WiFi everywhere, + when we went for a trip we got very nice lunch package, + great resident support (in case TUI Travel Agency). Cons: - incomprehensible that you can communicate in English only with one bartender and at the reception !!! - low cleanliness at the room and in hotel, - dead mosquitoes at the room walls (paint or sponge with soap will help?!), - lack of entertainment in area, - bland food, little variety and no vegetables for breakfast, always cold spaghetti!!!, - bad, slow and unpleasant service, dirty plates and cutlery, uncomfortable chairs in outside part of restaurant, - there is an option to eat at beach bar for 40% discount (same food as in hotel, bad and ugly area - not recomended), - poor coctails quality (just 2-3 juices and alcohol), - uncomfortable sunbeds, - tragic toilet at the pool, dirt and light switch damaged with cables outside (this is dangerous!!!) - main pool is to deep and shallow pool have slides exit so no fun in pool for non swimmers, - jacuzzi available only for +15 yo. even with parental supervision, - cleaning products not refilled (shampoo and soap), - only 2 towels in 4 person room, - no water at the room when we arrived, - ugly and dirty balconies with plastic fornitures and dirty clothes dryer, - damaged fire alarm hanging on the wall, - 25 EUR for 1.5 hour on spa area without treatments, - no Hispanic culture feeling in whole hotel.

Stayed for 11 nights in a superior garden room on a half board basis. Holiday was great value for money and we enjoyed that the garden area went directly out to the pool area, ideal for the kids. We had a hire car, which I'd recommend for days out. The hotel is right next to a beautiful sandy beach with a promenade. The hotel was clean and the room was pleasant enough as a base. The food was very good with plenty of variety and there is a small but well stocked shop right next to the hotel. Being picky, I would have appreciated the vegetarian food to have been labelled and the indoor swimming pool was closed. Several of the Algarve7s rugby teams stayed in the hotel towards the end of our visit, no problem and we went to watch them play. Overall we really enjoyed our time here.

We had an amazing family holiday in this Hotel. The food, the service, the staff, the facilities, the cleanes, were amazing. The animation team was great, they made my little one's 11th birthday very special, that's why we want to give a big thank you to: Marta, David, Cristian, Virginia. We also would like to mention Roberto by the reception ( very helpful). Juan, Manuel and the lovely and charismatic Patricia by the bar 😊😊. We would definitely be coming back 😀 :)

Tenía pendiente la opinión de nuestra ultima instancia (de momento) en hotel playa playamarina. Siempre nos gusta despedir el verana en un hotel de la cadena playa y en 2019 tocó Playa Marina (Entrada 04/10/2019, y 2 noches). Hotel totalmente recomendable por su ubicacion, instalaciones y sobre todo su spa. Otros años también hemos estado en este hotel en abril, pero en los utimos años está abriendo sus puertas mas tarde. Un par de dias con la fomilia, descansando y desconectando de todo. Totalmente recomandable para familias con hijos.

Férias fantásticas! De realçar a localização do hotel mesmo em frente à praia. A simpatia dos funcionários, os quartos e a comida são pontos a destacar neste hotel. A piscina é fantástica e o spa também!

Increíble. Perfecto para familias. Desconexión total. Mi hijo hizo amigos y algún "amor". (No se quiere quitar aún la pulsera del hotel). La hab con jardín altamente recomendable. Tienes la piscina a 3 pasos exactos. Genial las camareras de pisos. La calidad del buffet perfecta. Y el trato genial. Tengo q nombrar a Laura y la otra chica del spa, son increíbles y super cercanas. Antonio camarero del buffet de 10. María E. recepcionista muy resolutiva y amabilisima. Y no me puedo olvidar de Cristian, David y demás animadores que son un amor con los críos, y saben llevarlos a la perfección. Chapó por la animación catalogada por edades. Repetiré seguro!!! Un 10 para todo el personal.💯

Ha sido muy especial nuestra estancia del 24/07/23 al 01/08/23.Gracias a la atención de todo el personal, director (un auténtico profesional), equipo de animación Cristian, Virginia y Javi, mil 😘,mis hijos Pablo y Adrián siempre os recordarán, os llevan en el corazón. Es un gran hotel, se come genial, la diversión asegurada con ese gran equipo,piscinas muy chulas, toboganes para los peques, se aparca genial, spa muy completo, playa enorme enfrente, y el Algarve a un paso.

Hotel com boas condições e com capacidade para ser melhor pois os quartos são bons e bastante espaçosos limpeza cuidada no entanto poderiam ter mais actividade até ao final de setembro pois estive no hotel entre 19 e 26 de setembro e notei que estavam em final de temporada bar da piscina fechado e falta de animação nos espaços exteriores Outra situação que poderiam melhorar é a comunicação com os portugueses da parte dos funcionários não digo que tenham de falar português mas no mínimo tentar compreender De qualquer das formas foi uma estadia agradável

Ficamos 5 noites neste Hotel, com pequeno almoço incluído. Bastante variedade de comida, mas sempre a mesma, todas as manhãs. Nada a apontar. As piscinas exteriores são bastante boas, o jacuzzi bastante quente, mas sempre cheio. Os "escorregas" conseguiram me fazer ficar sem pele no cotovelo, podiam avisar que a profundidade é de apenas 1 metro.
