Hotel Baobab Suites

The best ever, we went to Baobab as a family of 5, for my husbands 50th birthday, from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be amazing. We were greeted by the wonderful staff, shown to our beautiful room with private pool and hot tub, everything was perfect. I had arrange a balloon and chocolate strawberries as a gift to my husband, there was also a bottle of wine and cake ready and waiting for us too. The setting of Baobab is beautiful, the view from our room was perfect (MI005) the breakfast box delivery’s were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The buffet style help your self breakfast again was better than anything we had ever experienced before, beautiful tranquil setting, fresh food and juice, clean and well run. Staff were all so friendly and helpful too. The suites are wonderful, loads of space, private and cleaned daily. The beds were soooooo comfortable, the private pool was a perfect temperature and the sand area perfect for the children to play. Bathroom towels and swim towels both provided, robes and slippers too. We went to the beach a couple of times, about a 15 minute walk, and uphill on the way back, but no issues for us as we love to walk, we are our most nights, so much choice within a 10-20 minute walk away depending how far you want to go. We can’t fault anything about our stay, and would definitely return. Baobab have everything you need for a chilled out, relaxing, luxurious stay. A special mention to Camilla who was just so lovely, so polite and attentive. All the staff were wonderful, food was delicious, location perfect, suite beautifully presented, overall a PERFECT break for a very special occasion. Yes this accommodation is higher prices and is definitely 5* but is worth every penny. Thank you Baobab for a perfect stay. Hope to see you again soon.

We are at the end of a truly wonderful week here at Baobab Suites and are so sad to be leaving. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and assisted to our room. We stayed in the Rio Serenity 2 bed suite with private pool and wow !!! It took our breath away . Spotlessley clean, spacious, beautifully designed, well equipped with a gorgeous sea view. We could not have been happier. This hotel is calm, relaxing and beautiful. The staff are very nice and helpful, the grounds immaculate and the main pool area is lovely with stunning views. The breakfast buffet area is lovely and modern and the selection is great with everything you would want or need . The location was fine for us despite being up a hill as taxis were quick and accommodating down to the lovely local restaurant and shops and beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone ! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Baobab for a wonderful holiday .

We stayed here in a two bedroom suite with a private pool. Absolutely first class from start to finish. The rooms are amazing, clean and great facilities. It’s up a hill so a fair walk back from the sea front bars and restaurants but plenty of taxis for cheap and scooters if you prefer. A great base for our holiday. Staff were friendly, pools were quiet and restaurants attached to the hotel were of great quality. For steak lovers definitely take time to visit the newly opened Char. My only negatives were that the glass around the pools wasn’t cleaned. Everything else was 5*.

This is the 4th time we've stayed at Baobab Suites, so there are other reviews from my wife and me telling how great the accommodation is. This time we would like to say thank you to all the team at Baobab for a wonderful holiday! You never let us down! Beautiful place but the thing that makes the holiday special for us is all the staff from housekeeping (which was particularly fantastic this time, thank you Ivon, you were amazing!) to restaurant/bar staff to reception (shout out to Corina who was very pleasant). You are all very professional and efficient and should be very proud of yourselves! Thank you again! Can't wait for our next visit in September! The "good morning" from Marisol at breakfast just puts a smile on my face for the whole day.

Everything about the hotel is 5* Quality of food. No over crowded and the service in reception l, BB lounge during the day and buffet breakfast all fantastic. Rooms are beautiful with stunning views and the beds very comfy. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom Only ****** is I ordered a bottle of brut at night in BB lounge which was 40 euros. Waited ages for it and when I went and asked where it was I was told they sold out. They then found a bottle of something else and I questioned if it was the same price and they said with no confidence that it was. The brut was not very nice and The next day at breakfast i realised it was the same bottle they serve for free at breakfast.

We stayed from 11-19th May 2024. From the moment we arrived until we left the service and staff were amazing. There was not one member of staff who did not fulfill their role. The housekeepers were so attentive and never failed to deliver . The bar staff were also amazing and friendly. The reception staff were also very helpful. The location although up a small hill was perfect for us , we were within walking distance to most bars and restaurants quiet but not too quiet . We don’t like it too busy . The breakfast was OMG .. amazing ! You need to experience both room service and restaurant. We stayed in a 3 bedroom Rio serenity . Our children are young adults who came with their partners and all of us had our own privacy and our own bathrooms.the set up suited us down to a tee! Having our own pool and little beach was amazing! We went out for dinner each night and all the local restaurants were great , not one complaint. If you go Mexican , don’t get a starter as the portions are big and you won’t manage to eat it all ( we took away the leftovers ) . We enjoyed it so much we have rebooked to stay in a 2 bedroom suite with pool in September . Honestly can’t recommend this accommodation enough . If there was one complaint it would be the late checkout charge , we had a late flight and we’re not leaving until 6:30 pm for a 3 bedroom suite we were €300. But I suppose if it’s 5* it comes with the territory . On that note though it was fantastic that we didn’t have to pack up ans be out the room by 12 and we could enjoy our last full day .
