Pueblo Torviscas Sunset Harbour Private Apartment

As well as being our first visit to the Pueblo Torviscas Apartments, it was also our first visit to Tenerife. Our friends have stayed at this complex many times and we went with them on their recommendation. I can highly recommend them. We had apartment D32 - this means block D, floor 3 apartment 2. The block had a small lift which is ideal for anyone who is less mobile with stairs. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you would expect with such a self catering apartment. The bed was exceptionally comfy too. The balcony had a great view down to the sea and part of the harbour in the Torviscas area of Costa Adeje. There are 2 pools and plenty of sun beds but if you want specific sun beds in specific locations you do need to book. Booking takes place at 11am and you book for 2 days. Then on the second day you queue up and book again. The pool bar is great - €2.50 for a pint of Estrella is cracking value too. The cocktails are freshly made to order as well. The restaurant serves great food too. The on site shop has practically everything you could need including freshly baked pastries, savouries and cakes. If you leave the complex at the rear gate and turn right you are a stones throw from the nearest supermarket (HiperDino) - can highly recommend the daily freshly baked breads and pastries. Some reviews have mentioned cockroaches in the rooms. For a start, they are common in the canaries. In terms of when we were there, never saw any in any public area of the complex throughout the week were there. In the room we saw 3. Two tiny ones one night and a bigger one at the end of the week. So was not a problem for us in that room. The balcony had 2 sun loungers, a large table and 5 chairs too. We booked direct with them and booked flights separately - saved us a lot overall and the booking with them was very easy and ran like clockwork. Finally if you need a taxi you can leave via the back gate to the complex and the taxi rank is just before the supermarket OR go to reception and they will order one for you at the front entrance and they are VERY quick to arrive!

Went with my partner and members of her family. Their experience usually ok. My first time here and I have to say never again! We had insects in our room. More than you would usually expect. Disgusting dirty floors. Towels weren’t changed when meant to be and when I came to speak to management they said they would put these things right and haven’t. Not worth the money at all!

We visited over Xmas with our children first time to tenerife. We booked a premium two bed apartment. First impressions apartment was lovely modern spacious, 3 big balconies facing different areas. Hotel was spotlessly clean in general areas. Lovely pool areas and choice of restaurants/bars for food and drinks. Unfortunately I became ill on first day of holiday with flu and needed a doctor so spent days in bed so the large apartment and great tv were a godsend. The location of our apartment near the front was over restaurants/bars. Unfortunately there was a karaoke/cocktail bar at one end near the front we weren't directly over it but music etc could be heard until the early hours so I dread to think of the noise if you had an apartment right over that place ...really annoying if your a light sleeper. Also before we arrived on holiday I read online about the sunbed booking which in theory seemed like a great idea. But having been to Pueblo torviscas I found it really annoying that you can only book sunbeds for the next day by queuing next to a wall at 11am near the pool....thats fine if you are around to do that but if your not about at 11am and out for the day you have no chance to prebook beds for the next day.it was generally the same people booking beds in the best areas. Many of the beds didn't get sun due to the time of year. We didn't once prebook a sun bed during our whole stay due to us being out/no chance etc. I think prebooking should be open earlier. I like the idea that if people don't arrive for their beds by 10am on the booked day they will then be given to someone else but we noticed the usual suspects booking beds arriving for maybe an hour then leaving and it's then free for all who gets the beds...just didn't work in my opinion booking should be open from 8am/9am giving others the chance to book...11am is far too late and juat panders to people who cant be bothered to get put of bed. Location of hotel is good for main restaurants and bars just a short walk and bars restaurants just outside too. We would recommend Pueblo torvsicas apartments as pool areas/ common areas and bar and restaurants location were all lovely but def book direct to get a decent apartment. But we didn't really like the area/tenerife so wouldnt return. Too many lucky lucky men about people selling tat, offering ***** to people /sex shops made me feel very uneasy there are nicer places less built up to visit. Siam park was well worth a visit as relatively quiet being December we went twice..but in height of summer the queues would probably be horrendous.

These apartments are both holiday ownership and available through package companies. We have stayed several times over the years having exchanged through the holiday ownership method and it has been great. Unfortunately this time we booked it as a package and it was awful. The apartment was 40 years out of date and in a state of disrepair in fact quite depressing. The beds were uncomfortable and there were none of the usual welcome pack items. The resort is split between sunset harbour club (lovely) and pueblo torviscas (awful). If you do wish to book through a package company ensure it is with sunset harbour club and NOT PUEBLO TORVISCAS.

This was our 3rd time staying in PT and was happy as usual with our stay. We were in A05 which was a studio, pleanty of room for the two of us, clean and very secure. Ceiling fan along with the secure patio area was fine for this time of year, maybe even the summer as the patio didnt get any sun (good from our point of view as this kept the room cool). The water pressure wasnt great from the shower, so perhaps would benefit from a new head. We spent most of our time at the beach, but did stay at the pool 1 day, no problem with getting beds this time of year, so didnt need to book. Staff were friendly and helpful as usual, the food in both onsite restaurants was of a good standard and look forward to coming again. We find the price point to be perfect for what you get here, and Sunset Harbour is great for the hotter months or if you would like a more modern room.

Been there a few years ago and it is still as good as ever. Spotlessly clean apartments with a fantastic pool area. Sunbeds are managed by a competent team with a booking system that allows you to book a sunbed for two days at a time. We had a great holiday and big thanks to all the staff. You won't find a better self catering holiday these apartments in Costa adeje.
