From the moment I made my reservations over the phone until I checked out of the hotel, my experience was excellent. I spoke to Rosemary, the manager when making my reservations. She was very pleasant and professional, providing me with all the information I needed for booking two rooms. I explained that several other family members would also be calling to make reservations, as we were attending a family funeral. Each person who spoke with her, had nothing but positives to say about their interactions. As we each arrived at the hotel, she and Scott, who was working the desk, went out of their way to insure that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel itself was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast buffet was much more extensive that ones we have had at other hotels. We had a number of adults and children taking advantage of the offerings. The woman who was responsible for supervising the breakfast area kept everything full so that we all had plenty to eat and drink. She was very personable, checking to see that we all had what we needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. There seems to be a real culture of genuine care and concern for those staying at the Fairfield Inn in Corning.

I was disappointed in this property. It is older (a former Super 8) and some of it leaves a bit to be desired. Worst part was the bathroom. Fortunately, the toilet and floor appeared to be newer. But the tub and sink were old, and the walls looked like something had been splattered on them with little to no effort to clean/cover it up. Air conditioner was a relic and looked like a fire hazard. On the bright side, the carpet and linens appeared to be clean. And the room didn't have a funky smell. I might stay again in a pinch but it would be on the bottom of my list.

Rimasto solo per una notte in transito da Niagara a New York. L'hotel è buono per un fermo di notte. L'hotel è a circa un chilometro dalla città, quindi c'è un ristorante sul sito per un pasto e non sono sicuro se ci siano altri piatti nelle vicinanze. L'hotel è situato vicino a un paio di supermercati (Aldi e un massiccio Walmart), quindi ci sono molte cose da mangiare, soprattutto perché l'hotel ha una microonde. Come un altro, per chiunque visita gli Stati Uniti o il Canada per la prima volta, a differenza del Regno Unito, i supermercati non sono generalmente autorizzati, quindi se si vuole vino o spirito, allora si deve trovare un negozio di liquori Sono abbondanti nella maggior parte delle città ma io Non ho visto uno intorno a questa zona dell'hotel. Poiché l'hotel è un buon modo per uscire dal centro della città che può essere la ragione. La tariffa include un colazione, tipicamente omeletta di formaggio, patate di carne di bovino, cereali, tosta, muffin, gioielli, tè illimitato e caffè. We booked a last minute stay here 2 days before our arrival. We got tickets to see The Cher Show at the Clemens Theater in Elmira...and this was really the better hotel to stay at, rather than stay in Elmira proper. We were greeted by the ever perky, friendly, and helpful Front Desk agent Laurie. She gave us some suggestions for the area, and we checked in easily. We were located in room 424-that we had chosen the day before on the app. The room was super clean. It was a bit dark, and dated-but nothing was worn. The TV was rather small given the size of the room, but worked fine. There was an extra blanket in the closet-very appreciated. The shower was powerful and hot the next morning. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. We used the hot tub in the pool room. We were the only ones in there, so super quiet! The pool was cooler than I would have liked-but I am definitely more of a hot tub person anyway. We would recommend a stay at this hotel for anything in the Elmira area.

Room was good sized for a couple. Kitchen efficiency was handy - full size fridge. We ordered out (Outback Steakhouse next door - 10% discount w key card) but it was nice to have plates/silverware, etc. One bed was super comfortable, the other not so much - felt like there was a hole in one of the sleeping sides. Convenient USBs on the nightstand. Hotel was clean. Everyone friendly. We had a dog with us and our room was right next to the side door, so that was very convenient. There was a nice lawn outside for him to play on. Bathroom was well stocked and good pressure/temp in the shower. Walls did seem to be thin, esp at night - we could hear kids running above us, could hear others in the hallway, toilets flush, etc., but the hotel was pretty quiet overall, so it wasn't really an issue.

The hotel was full so there were many people at breakfast with no place to seat. Coffee machine didn’t have milk and the day after still didn’t have milk so couldn’t do my morning coffee.
Room wasn’t cleaned, only towels were changed and the bed was fixed, dirt and things on the carpet and floor were left untouched.
The room was big and condemnable. We did get a room with a connecting door and we could hear the other family in the room.
The stay was just ok.

UUtente ospiteIl colazione dell'hotel è OK, il servizio è anche molto caldo. Quando il colazione il cameriere ci ha visto portare i bambini, ha anche dato un pacchetto di piccoli pasti al bambino.Ma l'ospite della stanza ha la sensazione di essere messo dentro. Non so se sia chiuso solo una porta, e poi l'inizio è stato chiuso. Fortunatamente, è autunno, la temperatura non è troppo alta, se suona così tutta l'estate, si stima un po'difficile.

FFliFlaHo dovuto chiedere un cambio di camera perché sembrava che la stanza che ho ricevuto non fosse pulita (il letto sembrava usato e poco “estenso”). La nuova stanza era migliore e potevo godere del mio soggiorno senza ulteriori problemi.
