Extraordinary stay. Particular highlight is the friendliness of the staff and their attentive manner. Kate in the spa deserves special mention for going above and beyond to fit us in. The spa itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean and the treatments delivered with great care and skill. We ate breakfasts daily and had one dinner in the restaurant. The dining experience was first rate, significantly better than decent hotel fare. Wholehearted recommendation and thanks to the team.

Good hotel, good bedrooms, great location, 5 minutes walking to centre, around restaurants, cafes and pubs. Exclusive residents bar. Friendly and helpfull staff. Free car parking to the residents, beside the hotel. Terracy to smokers.

Recently stayed here with my niece. The experience was brilliant from the get go from arriving at reception and greeted by Kevin Nelligan who was very pleasant and friendly. He was very helpful in providing us with the necessary needs when having a toddler stay in the hotel. When went up to the room was a lovely spacious room with a lovely view of the river. The following morning went down for breakfast and were met by the pleasant Chloe Leahy who was very nice and pleasant made it as easy an experience as possible when dining with a toddler

All'inizio non c'è bisogno di aria condizionata all'hotel di Cork. L'estate deve essere preparata psicologicamente. Il posto dell'hotel è conveniente nel centro della città!

This could be a great hotel stay but not in summer. The rooms are cooled by 2 tiny windows and small desk fan. The bathrooms don’t even have fans to vent the rooms. On a 75 degree F day in Blarney and windows facing the sun all day long, the room must have been 90 degrees when we checked in. Now at 8:30 PM it is still unbearably hot. We have the door propped open with a pillow and the chain to keep out uninvited guests. We are hoping for some cross ventilation from the hot hallway but this is unlikely because the windows at the stairwell don’t seem to open at all. Staff’s reaction to my question about lack of any AC was “it is a 100 year old hotel”. Well, the mill store connecting to it has AC as does the pub and restaurant they are in former mills also 100 years old. The hotel has location, convenience, cleanliness, etc. going for it — but we are literally roasting in our rooms.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti nel novembre come un grande gruppo di 14 adulti e 5 bambini, è stata la nostra terza visita a Castlemartyr come gruppo e abbiamo avuto un bel tempo. Noi abbiamo affittato 3 delle residenze della Porta che sono situati proprio come voi incoraggiate. Le case hanno tutto quello che ti serve e sono assolutamente senza spot. Sono a 5 minuti a piedi dal villaggio e a 7 minuti a piedi dall'hotel stesso, che è super conveniente. Il villaggio ha un centro, groengrocers e un paio di pub, quindi tutto quello che ti serve è davvero. Concierge è disponibile dalla casa ma è così bel cammino soprattutto alla notte, quindi consiglierei molto quando il tempo è buono. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante Canopy la prima notte e al cacciato Hog le altre due notti. Il cibo era assolutamente delizioso in entrambi, come sempre è, e il servizio era fantastico. Che sia colazione, pranzo o cena, il cibo è davvero buono in hotel.Una cosa che direi, se avete un bambino che si muove solo a solidi, non ci sono opzioni disponibili, eccetto la zuppa. Quindi consiglierei di portare il vostro se avete un bambino giovane. Sarebbe bello se l'hotel offrisse qualcosa come le tasche di cucina di Ella in futuro. La piscina è grande per adulti e bambini come. Ci sono momenti di tempo per portare i bambini e hanno una palla. Ma, alternativamente, ci sono solo momenti adulti che sono troppo grandi se hanno bisogno di raffreddare e di nuotare. Devo fare una menzione speciale anche ai servizi di babysitter sul sito. Se hai bisogno di un bambino, l'hotel fornirà i numeri per organizzare te stesso.Abbiamo avuto Eileen ogni visita e non posso lodare abbastanza lei, è stata sorprendente e così buona con i bambini. È bello avere l'opzione se vuoi andare a mangiare e bere sapendo che i bambini sono in mente, così ci occuperemo di casa. In generale, un altro grande pochi giorni a Castlemartyr e ci aspettiamo di tornare in futuro.

Il stile tradizionale, la camera comoda e il bar del ristorante sono molto emotivi e buon colazione.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti in questo gradevole hotel, molto vicino al centro, apprezzando l'accoglienza della stanza, i letti comodi pur se un poco alti, il bagno ben fornito e spazioso (con doppio soffione alla doccia, medio e grande). Buona la qualità del sonno grazie alle tende molto funzionali, alla temperatura corretta (grazie all'efficiente impianto di condizionamento) e ai comodi cuscini. L'illuminazione è corretta, molto gradito l'accesso all'ascensore gestito con la chiave a scheda in ossequio alla sicurezza. Apprezzabili inoltre sia le prese USB per la ricarica diretta degli smartphone, che le prese europee oltre a quelle anglosassoni. Presenti la cassaforte e la TV (datata), manca il frigobar. Hall piccola, ma ambiente molto gradevole sia dentro, che all'esterno grazie ad una parete di roccia con piccola cascata di acqua. Reception molto cortese e disponibile.
