Oak Tree Lodge & Holiday Parking

Stayed overnight before our flight. Excellent accommodation with parking for our midweek break. Shuttle service provided too . Very nice little treats which made us feel special. Treats in the room and a goody bag for our long journey home. Would 100% stay here again.

Had a wonderful 2 day stay at Oak Tree Lodge. Lots of personal touches to make sure you have everything you need. We were in room 2, very comfy bed, 2 comfy chairs and coffee table and if the weather is good there is an outside table to enjoy your breakfast at. Kettle inside your room for tea etc, but such a choice for breakfast in the foyer outside the room. Pain au chocolate, bread, jams, varied small boxes of cereal, crisps and other snacks. Toaster, electric egg boiler and fridge with milk, yoghurts and wonderful sealed bowls of chopped fruit. Also in the fridge are cans and bottles and large bars of chocolate for which there is a reasonable charge, and which you add to your bill when you pay. They don't take any cards but you can pay by cash or BACS. Nice roomy bathroom with walk in shower, body wash, shampoo , and conditioner provided. There are also a variety of small items you can buy in case you have forgotten your toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving things etc. In your bedside cabinet you will also find a small torch, first aid kit, pack of cards and a sewing kit, and there's a Scrabble set as well. They have even thought to provide each of you a sealed selection bag of little sweeties. We were so impressed with the consideration that has gone into ensuring you enjoy your stay. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area, and especially if we fly from Gatwick. As well as parking quite close to your room there is a secure long term parking area where you can leave your car, and they will provide a drop off and pick up from the airport. To top it off it is a 3 min walk to a lovely pub with great food, the Old House Inn. We can't recommend it enough.

Came across this Bed & Breakfast whilst looking for somewhere to stay before our flights out of Gatwick. Even better for us was that the car could be left there for the duration of our stay, with transport provided by the owners to Gatwick and a local taxi firm on the return. The room had everything we needed for the night and also provided a very filling continental breakfast, which was in the lobby area and eaten in our room. Absolutely no complaints just compliments for this wonderful Bed & Breakfast, which we will definitely book for our next trip out of Gatwick. Thanks so much

We stayed for one night prior to an early morning flight and left our car parked at the guest house. Our stay was exceptional in a more than comfortable private lodge. Very clean facility with a number of unexpected treats - complimentary drinks and snacks, sleep spray for the pillows and a selection of toiletries for sale in case of any forgotten items. On the morning of our departure we were too early for breakfast but David provided us with breakfast bags containing a good selection to eat at the airport. We were taken to and picked up from the airport without any delay. Upon collecting our car we had a further suprise with a bag of snacks and water for the journey home. Reasonably priced and would definitely recommend and use again.

Without doubt this B&B surpasses every expectation. There were some many wonderful touches that we could have stayed longer. I had the most wonderful sleep in such a comfy bed. We took away the well provided continental breakfast. Just minutes down the road is the Old House restaurant which was delicious and great value. David, be proud of what you do, it's worth it. We will.come again

This delightful b&b is a truly 5 star experience from booking all the way through to checking out. The room was really comfortable, the bathroom had the best shower ever, and everything was spotlessly clean. The welcoming hosts have thought of everything and we were continually surprised by thoughtful touches. Breakfast was superb and a lovely experience. We stayed one night, were driven to the airport, got a taxi back and stayed another night, all while our car was safely parked on the driveway. I literally can't gush enough about this incredible place and we will stay each and every time we fly from Gatwick - unless word gets out and it's impossible to get a booking! The standard here is really second to none.

Booked Oak Tree Lodge after reading all the great reviews and comments on Tripadvisor regarding the accommodation and the hosts Richard and David - they are not wrong! Very good overnight stay, comfy bed, with a stress-free DIY breakfast (boiled eggs, continental etc) prior to a swift transfer for a mid-morning flight. Collection very efficient on return. Thanks both, will certainly book again for similar flights.

We selected this lovely B&B having read the reviews of many people, all of which were glowing in their praise for their stay. We were delighted to find that all of the positive comments were very well deserved. After a friendly greeting we were shown to a room which exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, facilities and spaciousness. The very reasonable price included being dropped off at Gatwick airport and we also took up the facility of leaving our car at the property for the duration of our holiday. This really is the perfect way to start a holiday leaving from Gatwick and we will most definitely stay here again as the perfect preparation for future holidays.

Great B and B, has everything you could need and more, lots of personal touches. Including option to purchase (at very reasonable cost) any forgotten toiletries. Really nice self serve breakfast options available. Rooms were comfortable and warm.
