Southern Comfort Motor Inn

Booked a Deluxe Queen Room for 1 night at a rate of $149/night. The motel is located on the road in from Wallandbeen/Young & close to town. It's a quiet location with no road noise. Its a single storey complex with designated car parking out the front of each unit. A friendly welcome, with fresh milk offered & all the info I needed & also an offer of cutlery & crockery is available from reception. We were allocated Room 5, a large comfortable room with a nice fresh fragrance. The windows are openable, allowing for cross ventilation & a sofa, dining table & chairs. There is air con & electric blankets with a nice, comfortable bed also. There is a courtesy tea/coffee tray incl biscuits & complementary bottled water. Toaster, microwave, bar fridge (which is silent, much appreciated). Iron &ironing board too. Wifi is free & fast. The ensuite has an openable window with enough room. Individual toilettries are provided. The shower works well. Everything was so clean & well maintained. The motel provided us with an extremely comfortable stay with everthing we needed. We would certainly stay here again when passing thro.

The motel is located on the main road coming into Cootamundra. It was so comfortable and clean and the owners were fantastic. Even being on the main road, it was so quiet at night. I would recommend it to everyone.

Friendly and helpful check in, Clean and comfortable room including a lounge, table and chairs, lots of toiletries, lovely hot shower, fresh clean towels and sheets, good lighting, lots of storage space, aircon quiet and efficient. Fresh milk provided and complimentary bottles of water. Parking easy and spacious, bucket of water with windscreen washing brush provided near exit. Would definetly stay again and highly recommend.

What a great motel, we stayed for three nights, three rooms, all incredibly clean and very well appointed. Beds very comfy lits of lovely hot water, great BBQ available for use, also very clean, thanks to our very pleasant hosts who were able to assist with crockery, cutlery etc. Thankyou a great stay, we will be back

We stayed one night in a very comfortable and clean queen room. Very spacious, including the bathroom. Two-seater lounge as well as the bed. Bottle of water very handy on a hot day as we headed to a funeral. Cooked toast in the morning but no plate or knife! Apparently that should be requested from the office. Friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi.

Spent the weekend here. The motel is not new, but it is definitely not run down. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed comfortable. The shower had great flow and was super hot - which was great, since it was pretty cold when we were there. I think one of the things that sets this place apart is the little things. There was a microwave in the room, plus a note saying that plates and cutlery were available from reception. We were given fresh milk on arrival, and there were complementary bottles of water in the frig, which were replenished each day. The location is excellent - it is on the edge of town, but the walk in to town to Woollies, cafes, clubs and pubs only takes about 10-15 minutes. We' happily return
