Mrs Cooper, president of the South of India Kennel Club, was booked in here for the 2nd weekend in May. Lovely place, Super staff, very attentive and pleasing. Met others with whom I have made and am friends since. I never had a better time. Will come back again soon Ihope.

Siamo rimasti qui per due notti, durante la nostra visita di quattro settimane in India meridionale, abbiamo preso il treno per giocattoli per l'ultima ora fino a Ooty, è stato divertente, ma non c'erano le viste stupende che ci aspettavamo. Ooty è stato rovinato da molti edifici, ma il Savoy è ancora un'oasi. L'hotel è proprio quello che ci aspettavamo e ha avuto meravigliosi contatti con le tradizioni inglesi. I giardini in cui si trovano le camere sono stati un piacere nel clima più freddo, così ben servito dai giardini e divertito da tutti gli ospiti. Dopo tre settimane di calore e di caos, ci siamo ricordati del nostro giardino e dei gatti a casa e siamo riusciti a rilassarsi. Le camere erano confortevoli, il personale era bellissimo, le zuppe e la curry eccellenti, anche se abbiamo trovato il colazione deludente e il personale non aveva una caldaia per cottare l'acqua per il tè, l'acqua era calda. E' stato un peccato che non potessimo mangiare da nessuna parte, soprattutto a pranzo, le luci nella zona del ristorante erano un po' luminose.
