Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel

I was a bit worried about staying here having read previous reviews however it seems like there has been some staffing changes as the staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. We had the same issue as others though that they didn't answer the phone as we had tried to book the restaurant before we had arrived but couldn't get through. The lady on reception was able to sort this though and was apologetic explaining that they are sorting the rooms during the day so no one is around to answer the phone as they are short staffed. The food in the restaurant was fine and good value as the kids meals were free. The hotel is very convenient for the ferry just a 5 minute drive. There main problem we had was the room was quite noisy as it was near the road. For that reason I wouldn't rush to stay here again but I think we may have just been unlucky.

Overall stay was fine. Hotel could do with a lick of paint Disappointed in the restaurant, Food was good but service was terrible. We had to ask for drinks. It improved once Jo, the more experienced waitress took over looking after our table.

The rooms were neat and the staff was really co operative. Our request for inter connected rooms was fulfilled as well. Breakfast was great and the lady at breakfast was very friendly and co operative. Served us really well. The only downside was that the rooms were do hot without the air conditioning that we couldn't sleep all night. The fan provided were like toys and didn't give any air. It was very stuffy anf suffocating.

Rude eastern European cleaning lady blonde hair 20s really bad attitude problem spoilt it for all the other good working staff there / housekeeping and reception - restaurant staff etc I know we’ve had hot weather but the air-conditioning isn’t working. Probably trying to save some money but just put me off coming here again.

The Hotel was well located for access to Poole with an easy order button to call a taxi which we used a few times with a taxi arriving each time within 10mins. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Being in the middle of a Heatwave the bedrooms were very hot in the absence of air-conditioning with fans provided not being able to cool the rooms down enough for us to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast options were good although there was a wait for topping up the breakfast standard items and if breakfasting later in the session some of the food was cold. The bar area is a bit tired and needs a bit of a refresh

On check in the receptionist was very Friendly and efficient. We had two rooms both were spotless. Yes it was very hot as previous visitors have said but there were two large fans in the room. We didn't have an evening meal there but the breakfast was of a good choice and replenished several times .
