Stayed in a 2 storey 2 bedroom apartment with the for of us. Great location next to greenmount and myself and the kids were out surfing the points every morning or fishing of the rocks. We had perfect weather for the week. The apartment was clean and HUGE and the complex was nice and quiet. Parking downstairs in secure space. We could walk to all the shops and parks within 10 minutes Hopefully we’ll get back there next winter.

The holiday apartment appeared appealing on the website, but our experience upon arrival was disappointing (apartment 44). The room was not properly cleaned, with mud spots on the floor that I managed to clean with a wet paper towel. The kitchen bench and dining room table had crumbs and spilt juice, indicating they hadn't been cleaned. The chairs were filthy and clearly needed a thorough cleaning. There were stains on the wall from a leaky AC, and the flyscreen was off the main verandah, resting near the outside AC unit. The verandah itself looked like it hadn't been mopped in over six months. Additionally, the ceiling fan had exposed wires, which was concerning. We emailed the site about these issues on our first night but never received any response or acknowledgment. The saving grace was the fantastic location, just a short walk to the heart of Coolangatta, Point Danger, and Tweed. Thankfully, it was also relatively quiet during our stay.

We enjoyed a ground floor 2 BR apartment, which was quite roomy with easy access to pool and street. It is a great location across the road from the Greenmount beach and very close proximity to Twin Towns Club and cafes. We were able to walk to supermarket, shopping mall and numerous cafes and surf clubs for meals. Would recommend highly.

Unfortunately we were allocated an apartment right opposite the construction site on Hill Street. Woken every morning except Sunday at 0600 hrs by very loud construction noise which continued all day. This is no fault of the apartment managers. The rooms were quite dated but okay. The standard of cleanliness was average...no extra rubbish bags were provided until we asked for some. I think we were unlucky in that we were subject to the the construction noise. Normally this place would be adequate. Position wise it is good. I would have preferred a sunnier balcony. Not sure I would recommend.

Perfect location! We 3 older friends shared an apartment for 2 week and enjoyed the view of both the ocean through the palm trees and the lovely pool. We were perfectly placed a few mins walk away from all we wanted: beautiful walks, beaches, shops, local bus stops to both qld and nsw, cafes and the Strand restaurants. Apartment was spacious. We appreciated Ash driving us to the airport

The superb location of Bella Mare Beachside Apartments really contribute to a relaxing and idyllic beach side holiday on the southern part of the Gold Coast. Pristine beaches are within easy walking distance from your accommodation. Good cafes and dining options are also close by and two supermarkets are about ten minutes walk from Bella Mare. The apartment complex also includes a really nice outdoor pool, spa and outdoor area for guests to use. I couldn't fault the quality of my accommodation. Book directly for the best price.

We, two senior Canadian couples, enjoyed a wonderful two month stay at the Bella Mare. Our second floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was recently, beautifully, renovated. It was well appointed with all the necessities required for an enjoyable long term stay. Ash and Sue were the consummate hosts, friendly and informative. The location is awesome, across the street from Greenmount Beach and a short walk to all shops and services in either Coolangatta or Tweed Heads. This was our third stay, hopefully with another in the future.

Highly Recommended!!! We stayed in unit 35 for 1 week as a family of 5 We were very happy to see it was a 2 story townhouse style. We were extremely happy with the unit itself and also the fantastic location. Bella is just across the road from the beach and a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. We were in the pool everyday too which was really lovely including a great hot tub. We'll defintely be returning to Bella Mare, Thanks so much Ash and Sue for a wonderful stay!!!!

Omg………. My partner and I had the moment incredible and memorable experience staying at the Bella Mare! We had a muck around with our flights which meant we had to fly up 2 days earlier but due to school holidays we were unable to get accommodation. It was 7:30pm we were about to board our flight with no booked accommodation until I stumbled upon this incredible place!!! I called expecting the same answer I had gotten several time before (no rooms available) but ash and sue were beyond helpful and understanding and ensured us they would have a room for us on arrival, we weren’t expecting anything amazing but wow just wow. The room was amazing so big and so clean which was nice. They gave it to us for an incredible price which we are forever thankful for. The appartments are in the best location just across from the beach and a 5 minute walk to all the shopping you need. My family and I will most definitely be back!!! Sue and Ash we can’t thank you enough for how accommodating you both were we are so grateful
