We love Pecks restaurant and dine there annually at Chris**as. It’s great that the swan & lion arrange transport to and from the restaurant.
The rooms are cosy and well equipped, the walk in shower is huge!
Breakfast is plentiful but a little slow and rather over cooked!
Staff are very attentative and we skesus enjoy our stay.

Enjoyed our stay, however, we found a room very cold on the first night as the heater was behind the curtains, but moved curtains on the second night so the room was much more pleasant.
Breakfast on our first day wasn't great. We ordered and then 45 mins later asked how much longer we would have to wait, the waitress looked mortified, and obviously thought that we had already had it!
other than that, very nice.

Rolled the dice with this stay ,, didn't know the area. It was a great hotel, staff, food, room, parking, location all fabulous. Barman was very helpful. Do it !!

Lovely room with king size bed, standalone bath and walk in shower. Friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast included

Upside: This hotel is great. Really smart, clean and up market. Some very nice touches. Staff are very good and friendly. Rooms are very cool. Bathrooms are great.
Downside: Parking is a little to get into as the entrance is narrow. Anything bigger than a 4 series BMW you will struggle to get in. But car park is safe and plenty of parking. There was no one on reception and there was a bit of a queue to checkin. Also the wifi was not working. I had to use the guest hotel wifi which needed facebook or twitter to login. This did not work on my work devices so I had to use my data which was ok but slow.

Lovely friendly hotel with relaxed a**osphere, room was very good and clean with good facilities, including dressing gown and slippers. Restaurant meal was excellent. Good location for local shops and restaurants, pretty town.
