Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. Tsolum River within a 10 minute walk, access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 minutes to downtown Courtenay, 10 minutes to Mount Washington turnoff. NEW! Beautiful little place! The cottage was very cute with good amenities. Lots of attention to detail. The fire pit was wonderful and the location was awesome. Lots of trails and only 15-20 mins away from everything. In one day we went to Mt Washington and played in the snow, then went to Nymph falls and played in the river then to Saratoga beach and enjoyed sun & sand.

Beautiful Cottage Escape We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. Wildlife awaits each time you look out towards the wetlands, with a variety of birds as well as an orchestra of frogs come dusk. Would recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by infinite things to do nearby.
