I have stayed many times at Premier Inns, have become accustomed to comfortable beds, decent rooms and reasonable food. But, all my stays over recent months at Premier Inn Spitfire, north of Stafford have been let down by poor service at breakfast. This is not the fault of the staff, such as Jayne Darnel this morning, who worked extremely hard and was bright, polite and friendly. It is the fault of management who do not provide enough staff. One person cannot check-in, serve tables, replenish food and drinks and clear tables at busy times. And why has the rest of the seating area not been reopened yet? Premier Inn’s review card states ‘—-we don’t want to be good - we want to be great!’ Come on, Premier Inn management, prove it! This is your responsibility, sort it out!
