My husband and I went to Moberly lodge in August 2024 for 6 nights. I would define our stay totally perfect. The lodge is located within a natural beautiful context, the room was very nice and clean, the owners were always available and kind. I would also suggest this accommodation for the unforgettable and delicious homemade breakfast (even the yogurt with red fruits and granola), different sweet/savoury every morning. Highly recommended. They took care of us.

Wonderful forest retreat in a majestic forest Lodge. We enjoyed the attention to detail from our host Lucille and the delicious breakfasts served in the great room overlooking the mountains and forest. The soak in the lovely hot tub was welcomed after a ski at the Dawn Nordic Center. We definitely would recommend this B@B for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle.

We recently stayed at Moberly Lodge and had an amazing experience. The relaxed atmosphere, and welcoming staff made our stay unforgettable. Our room was cozy and clean, with a beautiful balcony. The breakfast was delicious and homemade products were served. We highly recommend this lodge.

Beautiful place, we really appreciated it being adults only in the main lodge, Beautiful scenery, the solitude was so nice. The freedom to enjoy our time alone without a bunch of staff or guests was great. The hosts were beyond amazing, the breakfast cooked for us was better than any restaurant could provide, the rooms were impeccable and the beds were so comfortable. The whole lodge was spotless. The hot tub was a great feature and added to the Mountain Winter getaway feeling. John and Lucille were so welcoming and friendly and appreciated our business. 5 plus stars on every level!! Can't wait to go back!

A Fantastic welcome, warm hospitality and great breakfasts. We enjoyed a relaxing 2 night stay at the lodge. A proper 'log-built' building built and finished to a very high standard. The room and facilities we had were clean and to a high standard. There was a great patio area to sit out on and enjoy a drink or two, together with a welcoming lounge area to relax in the cool when it became too hot outside.

Moberly Lodge was our favourite place that we stayed in on our trip, a beautiful log building and everything was spotlessly clean. It is so peaceful, yet within a 10 minute drive to Golden where there are some lovely coffee shops and restaurants. Our room had a really comfortable bed and chairs to relax in looking our at the scenery. We also had a balcony which was an extra treat. The hot tub is a great addition, and a lovely place to relax when you have been out exploring all day. The breakfast are delicious and all home made, can recommend the yoghurt especially. There is an honesty bar with a good selection of wine and beer which you can buy at very reasonable prices. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting Golden and would highly recommend. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

This wonderful place is a "must stay" is you are visiting the Golden area. I have visited many, many countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, guest houses, B&B's etc. around the world, including running my own place for almost 20 years. Moberley Lodge is absolutely world-class. The building speaks for itself, being the beautiful chalet style property that you see in the photos. What sets this accommodation above most I have ever stayed in is the attention to detail, the ambience, and the hospitality of this lovely family. It is an absolutely fantastic place to stay and relax!!

We loved our stay here. We had to change our plans last minute because of the situation in Jasper, so we came to Golden instead. I’m so happy we found this place! The room had everything you need, the beds were so comfortable. At night it was very quiet. It was great to sit in the lounge area, I can imagine sitting in front of the hearth on a winter’s night. There were board games and books for the guests. I loved the fact that they had an honesty bar. That we could sit out on the main terrace, nibble on some (self brought) snacks and just enjoy the surroundings. And if you wanted more privacy, our room had a terrace as well. Great breakfast in the morning, and help yourself to tea or coffee in the afternoon/evening. The staff was very friendly. If we ever come this way again, I will come back to Moberly!

This was the most romantic stay on our Canada road trip by far. Even though we only stayed one night, it was a really magical experience. The room was very cozy, the house looked like it sprung directly from your dream and the view of the mountains is breathtaking. The owner and staff were awesome and prepared a phenomenal breakfast. If we were into hiking (which we aren't) this would've been the perfect home base to explore the beautiful forests and landscape. But just sitting on your balcony reading or chilling in the comfy chairs in your room was very relaxing.
