It was crafted by an understudy of the legendary architect Geoffrey Bawa, and you can feel that heritage in every detail. With just four impeccably designed rooms, Ishq Colombo is a feast for the eyes. Every corner is a blend of contemporary elegance and timeless charm. The service here is beyond exceptional—personal, thoughtful, and attentive, thanks especially to Asanga, who went out of his way to make my stay effortless and memorable. And let’s talk about breakfast: it was nothing short of incredible. From the freshest local fruits to the rich Sri Lankan curd, perfectly brewed tea, and beautifully prepared eggs, every morning felt like a celebration of flavor and hospitality. If you’re looking for a place that combines rich history, exquisite design, and a level of service that makes you feel genuinely at home, Ishq Colombo is it. This is a place I’d return to in a heartbeat.

A one of a kind experience. An amazing oasis of a villa in a bustling area of Colombo. Once you go through the gate, it is like another world - almost having a beautiful private villa and staff to yourself. The team, service and food were all truly first class. The design and furnishings are beautiful. We only had one night there but wished it had been more. A memorable stay.

Ishq Colombo will always be a home for me. I stayed there 3 times and there isn't another place I could choose to stay in, in Colombo. Everything is perfect about it: architecture and garden, charming decoration, immaculately clean, amazing food, and a superb staff, special mention to Asanga dnd Dilanka, who will make anything to make you feel at home and part of the place. The suites are particularly amazing. There aren´t enough words to describe it. Ishq is a gem and an oasis in the most charming and peaceful neighborhood of Colombo.

It was without any doubt the best stay we had in our holiday in Sri Lanka. Perfekt rooms, fantastic food og the service was more than anyone could wish. Professionel og perfect in all details and in all matters. I have never given any better recommendations. Thank you once again.
