I stayed at Colombo City Hotels during my recent visit to Sri Lanka, and it proved to be a good choice for a short stay of 1-2 nights. Situated in a charming lane in the Fort area, the location is quite convenient and safe, with several attractions like the Lotus Tower, Gangaramaya Temple, and Bally's ****** within close proximity. The room was comfortable and equipped with all the basic amenities one might need. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a cool and relaxing environment after a day of exploring the city. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with essentials, meeting all expectations for a comfortable stay. The staff at the reception were exceptionally courteous and helpful. A special mention goes to Hashini, who made the check-in process seamless and quick. Within just a few minutes of arrival, we were checked in and welcomed with a refreshing drink—a small but thoughtful touch that added to the positive experience. While the hotel doesn't offer much in terms of recreational activities or facilities, it serves its purpose well for those looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills stay in Colombo. The surrounding area is safe and sound, making it easy to explore nearby landmarks. At 10,000 LKR per night, Colombo City Hotels is definitely a value-for-money option if you’re looking for a simple and convenient place to stay in the heart of the city. I’d recommend it for travelers with basic needs who want to focus more on exploring Colombo rather than spending time inside the hotel. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free stay!

View from the hotel room is Amazing! staff are well mannered. No major problems. Break fast included in hotel was decent. Checkin process was smooth they verified passport and provided room in 5 mins. We stayed here for 1 night. Peaceful stay.

Make my trip, and it as always very good property by make my trip. Reception guys were wonderful, always have a smiling face eager to help and assist, food was good

Services and facilities are not good more over they don’t have proper accountability and tracking system even for room services and orders. They charged a very big amount for a service which we didn’t avail further more delayed our check out even after they understood that the same was their staffs mistake

Checkin was delayed and i was asked to wait for 4 hours as mm t has not released payment to hotel. I have made to call mmt care and requested to release the payment to hotel. This is however my last review as i am uninstalling mmt.

Look like ok service better but looking more convinced i am ranking at 5 in future more better services
