Abbiamo prenotato 3 notti con una agenzia di Cusco Vilca Travel Manu expedition ci avevano garantito un lodge carino dove si mangiava bene con piscina. ARRIVIAMO posto super trasandato, sporco, cibo pessimo senza scelta nessun buffet pochissima frutta senza la possibilità di richiedere una porzione in più. Personale scortese. Condizioni igieniche gravi. Alla sala comune si poteva accedere a piedi nudi senza scarpe ma vi garantisco che le mie scarpe erano molto più pulite del loro pavimento e dei loro tavoli. Zucchero e latte in polvere senza coperchi cose assurde! La piscina era sporchissima i genitori dei bambini pulivano con il retino tutte le mattine perché non c'era un minimo di manutenzione e di filtri, non fatevi il bagno! Mi sono lamentata sia con l'agenzia di Cusco che con l'agenzia madre a Puerto Maldonado e ho ricevuto solo insulti da parte della signora dicendo che la foresta è così. Cara signora ho viaggiato nella mia vita e un lodge con energia elettrica e acqua non deve essere così!!!

Amazing experience, great service from start to finish. We got picked up from the airport and taken to the office, who stored our luggage. We had a short boat trip to the lodge where we were given lunch then shown to our room. We had a swim in the pool then watched the sunset and went night Cayman searching. We had a delicious tea. The next morning we were up at 4am and left at 5am for a trek through the jungle where we saw monkeys, birds, snakes and lizards. We went on a boat trip round the lake where we saw Caymen , otters and exotic birds. We returned for another delicious lunch and then did a canopy walk. We were taken back to the office by boat and then dropped at our accommodation by mini bus. Nothing was too much, when it was raining the staff brought us plastic bags for our clothes. The guide Ronald was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this tour 100%

Bravo for the Nice exchanges,and share of knowledge. All the activites gave a fair view on the wildlife in the amazonian area. Wonderful time and pictures ! Even with à difficult weather, we saw many animals and did many experiences in the forest.

Very impressed. Fernando was super knowledgeable and immersed the whole group in all the activities. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. You can tell he has been working in the Amazon and wild for many years. He was really good with getting everyone the true jungle experience.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Fernando. The tour was perfectly organized and the activities were well chosen. Fernando spoke really good English and guided the tour really well. Also the lodge is quite nice and they have delicious vegetarian food. The only thing I I did not like was the monkey island trip, the monkeys seemed aggressive.

It’s a great time. Fernando is a great guide who really loves and appreciates all the animals and insects the jungle has to offer. Highly recommend coming here. So much variety is offered in activities that there really is something for everything. Bring Deet, a bright headlamp, and long sleeves!

I had a great time on the 3 day, 2 night stay at Monte Amazonico. The lodge is comfortable with a nice pool and spacious rooms, food was great, and the tours very interesting. Fernando our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife, was great at spotting and pointing out animals on all tours, and really made the stay special. I can really recommend it! :)

A particularly professional and organized tour business. From the moment we arrived, people were taking care of us, guiding us and letting us know of next steps. The amenities and food were pretty decent, considering the lodge being inside the jungle and away from the closest city. Also, the total tour price was an excellent value for money. The tours themselves were diverse and interesting. We were lucky because we had the best tour guide, in our opinion. He was deeply knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and, most importantly, loooved, respected and cared about the forest. Ronald, we love you, my friend! Jorge and Massi

We had an amazing time in the jungle! Beautiful resort with comfortable rooms. Fernando was our guide and he knew everything about the local wildlife! He was exceptional! He knew where to find all the animals on all of our many adventures, we saw giant sea otters, caimen, many birds, and were able to feed the monkeys! He also knew the plants and trees and how the natives used them. We learned a lot and he was able to give the tour in Spanish and English at the same time! BONUS: Big pool to cool off in between tours!! Many thanks to everyone there that cooked us 3 meals a day and cleaned our rooms daily, but special thanks to Fernando. -Much love, Maura and Tony.
