I have to give one star only because I can’t give less. I cannot comment about this hotel because I couldn’t even get in. I made a reservation about a month prior and I paid a deposit, everything seemed fine. On the day of my arrival we found out that to enter the hotel you need a code that you should have received via email, because there’s no reception, but I didn’t receive any email. So I checked the spam email and there I found an email from the day before by the hotel saying that there was a problem with the payment and we had until 12 pm of the day after the email was sent to complete the payment. So we still had time. Once we arrived, we called and we were told that our reservation was cancelled because we should have paid by 3 pm, but the email said otherwise. Also we were told the room had already been given away and they couldn’t do anything. So we were left alone in Cologne and without a place to stay and without any help from the receptionist, who told us that it wasn’t her problem. Needless to say I will never try to book here again and I will never forget this terrible experience.
