Les Balcons d'Oyster Pond

Had an amazing romantic gateway ! Peaceful, serene , quiet, clean and relaxing! We stayed for 6 days, cooked our own breakfast! The bungalow is equipped with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a deck overlooking oyster pond and the ocean! Claude the owner was very helpful, gave us great suggestions for day trips and went above and beyond! Would love to go back again! Te surroundings are gorgeous and we found beautiful scenic areas nearby! We rented a car for the week and hubby loved driving the windy, steep roads flanked by the ocean nearby!

We chose this place base on TripAdvisor but I think it is very overrated. It is Les crowded location but there is not much in walking distance. There are few restaurants and small grocery store. You definitely need a car . Coralita Beach near by is full of garbage and broken glass and Dawn beach is not in walking distance. This beach is very overcrowded next to big resort . The beach is less than average . There are very nice beaches on the island but about 30min driving distance. For that reason , it was not a good location. Our room was nice and you have everything you need for kitchen and bathroom. We had a large deck with small pool. The issue is that you are near water and there is so much mosquitoes in morning and evening that you really cannot enjoy the outdoor. The kitchen was also outdoor so we got like 100 mosquito bites just trying to make coffee in the morning. The pool was nice during the day. There was a palm tree by pool and it was full of ants and bugs. The leaves and bark were falling from tree into pool . The water in pool was dirty because of that. Overall we had positive stay but we would not return.

We stayed here for 4 days and couldn’t have been happier. They are so helpful and the space is epic. All you could need to enjoy your stay Plates utensils and all the works. Def will be back here to stay. Looking forward to seeing it again. And plenty of restaurants in the area.
