Vibo Wine Lodge at Viu Manent

We arrived at the Vibo Wine Lodge after a long drive from Pucon and were greeted with stunning views across an immaculately kept vineyard. First impressions were good (even the parking spaces under the vines for shade were a nice touch), but once we were checked in by the English speaking staff, the experience just got better. We were taken to our lovely 'loft' as they call the rooms, where we stayed for 4 nights in a modern & airy room nestled amongst the vines. I think we were lucky as even though all the rooms are very private we seemed to have the best location, right on the edge of the vineyard without any other rooms in sight. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom large and the veranda outside also very spacious. There is a bath on the deck, which we didn't use personally (other than to sit in it with no water, to take a photo lol) & comfortable chairs to sit & enjoy the peace & view. We also like the electric roller blinds that you could open in the mornings from bed to wake up to the view across the vines! The pool area is stunning & most of the time we had the whole place to ourselves. There are only 6 lofts I believe anyway, so at most you might have to share it with a few other people, so it almost feels like having your own private villa most of the time. We really liked how reception Whats Apps you each day to find out what time you want breakfast the following morning & also what time you would like your room cleaned. This was a nice little touch, which meant you never felt like you were in a rush to get out of your room for housekeeping. Breakfast is at the café on site, which was very tasty & served in courses, with yoghurts, fruits etc as a 'starter', followed by the 'main' of eggs of your choice, toast, avocados etc. The coffee they served was also some of the best we had in Chile. For dinner, there is a restaurant on site but it only opens Friday's & Saturday evenings I think (but is still open during the day every day). Although fairly pricey for Chile, the food was some of the best we have tasted, beautifully presented & the price includes glasses of wine paired with every course, so well worth the cost. From memory this was around £60 GBP per person. For 3 courses & wine that is still very good value compared to back home in the UK, where a similar meal in a nice restaurant would cost at least £100 per person! The café also served sandwiches & snacks until 9pm so that is also an option. In addition, reception can organise a local taxi to take you to a restaurant in Santa Cruz if need be, which we did one night to go to an Italian restaurant. You just pay the driver directly (around £12 round trip) & Whats App them when you are ready to go back to the hotel. In terms of activities, we did the wine tasting which was very good & the girl who took us around was very friendly & knowledgeable. Ficamos no Vibo em julho e adoramos cada detalhe da estadia. O hotel é novo, moderno, muito bem cuidado e com atendimento impecável. O quarto é super confortável e silencioso, com tudo funcionando perfeitamente. Mesmo no inverno, tanto o chuveiro quanto a banheira aqueceram super bem. Passamos horas curtindo a banheira ao ar livre, aproveitando a vista e o clima — uma experiência incrível e relaxante. O café da manhã poderia ter mais variedade, mas isso foi facilmente compensado pela proximidade de dois restaurantes fantásticos a poucos passos: o Rayuela e o Wine & Food — ambientes charmosos, pratos impecáveis e uma seleção de vinhos que torna tudo ainda mais especial. A sensação foi de estar em casa, só que melhor. Não deu vontade de ir embora. Queremos voltar!

Fui ao chile exatamente para estar em paz nesse lugar lindo; hotel da vinicola viu manent, vale a pena a hospedagem. Sugiro fazer degustacao particular com rotulos deliciosos da viu manent, onde se desfruta muitas delicias, com atendimento nota 10. Solange nos tratou muito bem. A hospedagem no vibo wine lodge é espetacular, sao poucos quartos distribuidos pelos vinhedos com total privacidade e luxo; o por do sol na varanda é inesquevivel. O restaurante que serve almocos para o hotel se chama rayuela( no jantar o hospede apenas pode usar a cafeteria ao lado, mas ok) é mto bom, experimente. Ambiente ao ar livre onde se ve a natureza, cavalos, parreiras e um lindo ceu limpo azul. Valeu demais.
