Hotel a Colares, Portogallo

La piscina in questo hotel è incredibile! X4 tavoli da immersione! Buona caffè e ristorante. Ottima posizione non lontano da Lisbona ma ancora incredibilmente lontano! Ci siamo davvero goditi il nostro soggiorno e speriamo di tornare un giorno!

Sono andato lì dal 14 al 16 gennaio e ho avuto una grande esperienza. Questo hotel è così buono, tranquillo, confortevole, perfetto per un buon paio di momenti, ha un buon cibo, pulizia, posizione da Sintra City con così tanti castello e luoghi medievali da sapere. E cosa devo dire sul personale? OMG! Tutti sono ospiti meravigliosi! Devo solo ringraziarti così tanto per tutti! Continuate così, voglio davvero tornare quanto prima possibile :)

Amichevole con i clienti e ci sono i propri colleghi che era bello vedere che ci sarebbe rimasto quando tornammo qualche volta quest'anno per una piscina battesimo è bello e freddo è come il tempo britannico ma troppo freddo per una nuotata ma sarebbe stato sorprendente se fosse un Little hotter

Decent place to stay if you have a car. Several miles from Sintra historic center area, but we left early enough to get a free spot in a neighborhood a few blocks from the National Palace, so that helps. Room was typical BASIC Ibis. Not enough pillows (just ONE per person); towels (again, only ONE total, per person, or trash cans (again, ONE TINY one). No fridge!! No coffee maker. NO ICE machine available for public use in the entire hotel! Very tricky parking spaces. They have about 15-20, which are free, on surface lot, but need to pay if park in structure below...only 3 euros, but they should just make it free. The bar/restaurant area was decent and convenient; fair prices for quick dinner. Breakfast 8.50 euros, but very limited continental breakfast only; not hot items... We chose to eat elsewhere and was less expensive. Not many places to eat in immediate vicinity. There is a very convenient Lidl and Auchan (large grocery/gen merch store) to stock up on supplies before heading out. Internet wasn't working our first night, but was ok the next night. In summary, inexpensive, basic, clean room for the night, but definitely no friils. Would recommend staying here, as long as aware of basic/limited amenities

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. It is well located in Sintra and presents very nicely (modern lobby decor, good views, large rooms), however we found the service at this hotel inadequate in the following respects: 1. Parking. We came to Sintra in a hire car. I chose this hotel because the booking.com website said that private parking was possible on site at a cost that we were willing to pay. I emailed the hotel before our arrival to arrange for parking but they never replied to my email. When we arrived there was no parking anywhere near the hotel so we parked a long distance away. When we reached the hotel I asked about on site parking and was told that none was available due to a private event being held at the hotel which was scheduled to finish by 8pm that evening. The woman at reception was very haughty and unhelpful, when I asked whether we could get a parking spot after 8pm she just dismissed my request. We ended up leaving our hire car parked a fair way away which was OK for us as we are used to hiking long distances uphill but if you have any mobility issues or are with young children this situation would be a nightmare. 2. On our third day our bath towels were not changed until I specifically asked at reception at about 5pm. Apparently they had had a problem in the laundry. When bath towels were finally delivered they were damp. 3. The toilet in our room took an unusually long time to refill after flushing. 4. The holders for the bath wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower were very flimsy, one of them fell off as soon as I applied for some soap. If I were to revisit Sintra I would look for somewhere else to stay.

La posizione dell'hotel non è del tutto buona. Non è vicino a nulla, avrai bisogno di auto per arrivare in qualsiasi luogo. L'hotel in se si vede che ha i suoi anni. Le camere sono buone ma sinceramente non per il prezzo che si paga. L'acqua della piscina interna era fredda, quindi non potevamo godere del Spa. Il buffet lascia molto da desiderare. L'attenzione del personale è stata molto buona.

Molto bene la colazione e la piscina e campo da golf. In generale la posizione migliore dell'hotel. La camera un po 'piccola per quattro persone e alcune notti odore un po 'malissimo credo che il problema dell'aria condizionata

We had a great time during our 5 night stay at the Vila Gale Sintra. I’ll start with the pros of the resort. The property itself is beautiful. The pools, the scenery around the hotel are amazing. The family room layout was great for us. It was essentially what appeared to be what used to be two rooms combined into one. The large balcony was great for sitting out at night. The sunset was spectacular from our room. The kids activities were great as my kids got to enjoy the carousel, playground and trampoline park. Be aware though that they only open these at certain times throughout the day. The breakfast was great and had a ton of selections. There were a few cons, the first was the buffet dinner. It was quite expensive at 29 euros per person and the options werent great. They only really had one meat and one fish that they were cooking and there was a line to wait in if you wanted it. We only ate dinner there the first night. The room was partially refurbished. The carpet looked older and the sliding door within the room kept coming off the tracks. And the bathroom was a little odd in that the vanity was open to the rest of the room. So if someone needed to use the lights for it they would light potentially wake up the person in the room if they were sleeping. Then the WiFi, while it worked well for the most part, kept having to reconnect to the network. This happened on both my phone and iPad several times each day while I was there. The location of the hotel has its pluses and minuses. It is a quiet resort away from the city of Sintra. And it’s also located in a place that makes it easy to get to the beach and Colares. But there isn’t anything else right around the hotel so you need to rent a car or take an Uber to get around. We took and Uber and it did work pretty well. Nothing is within walking distance and the nearest bus stop is a 20-30 minute walk away.
