*worst hotel in coimbatore* extremely unprofessional and rude front office staff. To start off, the receptionist gave me the complimentary bottle of water in my hand at the time of check-in and bluntly refused to get it sent to my room. It took multiple number of requests and approximately 2 hrs to get a cake of soap placed in my washroom basin and a water kettle in my room. One of the staff even refused to do so and said very rudely that they don't provide such services. In the morning, for the breakfast which was included in my booked continental plan, i was told that the chef had suddenly gone on leave. Receptionist said that i would have to go to the nearby canteen called Geetha canteen for my breakfast. On arguing further, they said they were helpless. One of the hotel staff escorted me to the canteen and returned immediately. After my breakfast, when i was about to leave, a bill was presented to me. I made the payments and returned to the hotel. I showed the bill to the receptionist. She and another front office staff said that the stuff that i had eaten is not included in the complimentary breakfast and that i have to bear the cost. All explanations and arguments from my end yielded no result.

The complimentary breakfast is not provided by hotel persons, they are providing breakfast from out side canteen with rs. 70- worth only. And they are not included even tea also. It is very bad.

Over the past four months, I’ve stayed at four different hotels in Coimbatore. At Fortune Hotel, I booked an executive room, but it didn’t quite feel like an executive experience. That said, it was good overall and offered decent value for money. The room was clean, the breakfast at the nearby restaurant was tasty, and the location was convenient—just a short walking distance from the Gandipuram bus stand.
