Wish I’d have read them everything is true. This is not a luxury resort. Tired old dirty rooms. No staff anywhere. No gym access. Unusable internet. No assigned parking and not enough spaces. But best of all many people live here permanently and they do not like visitors. One resident came INSIDE our room as we brought in our cases and told us off for banging the door. We had been here under 2 minutes. Another resident ambushed my daughter parked by lift unloading her cases with a tiny baby and 2 year old told her off too. Within 90 seconds of arrival. Literally they patrol the place looking for chances to discipline visitors for actually being here !! Nice grounds but horrible atmosphere- rudest barmaid in the bar rude to coworkers and guests went for 1 drink and left. Yes we asked for our room to be cleaned to give the place a chance to step up before complaining and someone came and cleaned one window and sprayed a scent to cover up curry smell but couldn’t get rid of it. Staff are hidden and only available via mobile phone. Ghastly. Do not go. It is not a resort experience!

Parco naturale bellissimo accesso diretto alla spiaggia. Amato le opportunità foto con la zona acqua svampy - piante tropicali e ponti sopra l'acqua. Spiaggia di pebble con molti piccoli pebbles perfettamente circondati. Gli giardini sono bellissimi. Le camere sono un po' obsoleti per la rigenerazione, ma dopo la CUVID tutti devono guadagnare un po' di reddito prima di aggiornare ...Clean and very comfortable.

L'appartamento era pulito e le camere erano molto spaziose.
Contiene tutto quello che ti serve, tra cui un grande frigorifero e un lavastoviglie.
Il check-in è stato veloce e facile, siamo arrivati un'ora prima e l'appartamento era già pronto per un check-in precoce. La posizione è grande, camminando a piedi dalla spiaggia e posti da mangiare. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

La suite è stata spaziosa con letti di buona qualità, confortevoli, e abbiamo dormito bene. Il parcheggio era molto arduo, bene quando ci prenotiamo, ma dopo aver fatto una passeggiata intorno alla spiaggia e alla città, prendere la cena e tornare all'hotel, i parchi auto erano tutti pieni. Il personale è stato molto amichevole al check-in e al check-out. Se si fosse idoneo e in grado, sarebbe stato un breve passo per la cena e la spiaggia.

We stopped over here for a night passing through. Checking was fine friendly staff. However the room was disgraceful. Cockroaches crawling up the walls near the bed and in the bathroom bugs crawling in and on the bed sheets. The bunk bed at top was hard and my son couldn’t sleep on it the pillow was like a bag of cement and my son had developed a nice reaction from query dust as his eyes were watering smd puffy and sneezing constantly. He needed an antihistamine to stop and settle and all 3 had to sleep in the one bed as the bunk bed was too uncomfortable

Its been some time since we came to the Pier Hotel for Dinner and we found it a pleasant experience. In recent times it has had a lot of renovation work done and its a pretty busy and popular venue especially with those younger than us. I ordered a Steak Sandwich which was the best I have ever had. Served on Toasted Focaccia Bread with the works, the steak was juicy and tender with great fries on the side and for a reasonable price. Wine and beer prices were also reasonable so we will be back again.

UUtente ospiteQuesta è una delle migliori località che abbia mai soggiornato. La gente è la più amichevole e più utile. L'unità è stata meravigliosa, con 3 camere da letto grandi uno con una suite a dimensioni piene e il bagno principale molto grande con spa angolo. L'unità era molto pulita e la cucina aveva tutto quello che doveva per un breve o più lungo soggiorno. La piscina e la zona BBQ sono stati fantastici di nuovo tutto quello che avete bisogno per un BBQ (cottura utensili, piastre e persino salsa e burro nel frigorifero che tutti possono usare. Sono felice di raccomandare Smugglers On The Beach a chiunque abbia bisogno di alloggio a Coffs Harbour per una notte o un mese.

I actually booked online, cancelled and then sent an email explaining why I cancelled only for the manager to accomodate my requests and reinstate my booking. All in all, the staff at this hotel are fantastic and I couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, the rooms are very, very dated. This could be because I am from Sydney and regularly stay at major Australian CBDs - but if I had booked for a holiday or other travel that required a lengthy stay in the room itself. I'd book elsewhere. It's not fair on these awesome staff members to be let down by crappy, dirty windows and shower amenities that utilise a reusable pump rather than separate bottles - these things made a difference when you are paying $350+ a night. Thanks so much for making my stay possible - but I will likely seek out other accommodation next time.

UUtente ospiteOverall, a pleasant stay, in a beautiful location, but with a few much needed upgrades, it could be so much better. The grounds around the resort were lovely. The check in process was friendly and quick. Directions to room a bit vague. Told that the wifi was having issues and we were unlikely to be able to get wifi or 5g from the room (on arrival to the room 5G was fine, but wifi virtually non existent). Car park was like a rabbit warren and difficult to find the correct lift to go up. Later the under cover car park was full, over flow car park full. Had to park over on the dirt with big muddy puddles everywhere. On arrival to room there was a dingy dark little entrance room, and the light was hard to find in there, so we had to use our phone torch to be able to see to open the door. Very dissapointed in room on arrival. Photos on the internet of the executive 1 bedroom apartment showed nicely updated kitchen and bathroom, what we got was old and dated. An old fashioned beige spa bath and an old fashioned shower over bath set up, and barely high enough to get my head under water. It was nice and hot with decent pressure though. Bathroom seemed to only have 1 small soap and one small shower gel for 2 guests. The kitchen was fine, but had no overhead cupboards, splash back etc like in the photos on the internet. I messaged reception about my dissatisfaction with the room, but received no reply. The rest of the room was nice, and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The views to the golf course and lake were nice, and was good to have a balcony. The TV in the bedroom was extremely tiny, and situated poorly so you have to look down to watch. There was a larger TV in the living area though. We did not watch TV at all, as knew Netflix etc would not work with no Wifi. The fridge was not stocked at all, apart from 1 tiny bottle of long life milk. No water, soft drink or any form of mini bar. Things that really let down the room were things like the rusty air conditoner external unit, old creaky window in bathroom, window with slatted blinds that are very dusty, and that same window that didn't seem to seal properly. Also a few little cobwebs in the bathroom. With a bit more attention to detail, this could be an amazing resort, but at the moment, I was very let down, especially since our room didn't match what was on the internet. Reasonably priced though.

Per quanto riguarda le carenze, uno è il condizionamento aria condizionato molto timido, l'altro è che ci sarà un'auto sulla strada, ma il motel vive, il rumore dell'auto può essere capito e accettato

UUtente ospiteWe booked on short notice and was able to get a pet friendly room for a 1 night stay. The room was clean & comfortable. The facilities were very good. The manager? on the desk was a lovely lady, very friendly and a great personality.
The noise was a bit loud from the highway but by 11pm it had settled and only heard a bit through the night.
I think it is amazing to even have a pet friendly motel and I would gladly stay there again.

Il motel è vecchio, quindi non aspettare un soggiorno di lusso ma la dimensione della camera è buona. Abbiamo visto alcuni grandi cazzoni dentro la nostra stanza, così è stato un po' spaventoso. Rimarremo altrove se avremo opzioni perché il costo del nostro soggiorno era quasi $300 per notte.

SSaharHo avuto una camera con vista sull'oceano che era fantastico. Potevo sentire la chiamata dell'oceano dalla stanza. È possibile raggiungere a piedi la spiaggia dall'hotel e dalle strutture: la piscina, i campi da tennis e da golf sono fantastici. Molto soddisfatto e sicuramente
consigliarne altri.

We had a perfect room! A perfect pool that we didn’t want to leave and The restaurant is so cute, I imagine it would of all been a bit flash in the 80’s! We will definitely come back!!!

The external of the Motel is old, however the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. All the linen seemed new (certainly the towels and bathroom linen. The new managers (Mark and Donna) are very friendly and are working hard to turn around older reviews from previous managers. When I booked I mentioned to Mark that due to my bike breaking down, I had to leave it at a nearby bike shop for repair. Mark immediately offered to come and pick me up, with all my gear.... which was great and beyond duty. The room I was in was very clean, tidy and great hot shower. I would definitely stay here again. Look beyond the external signs of an ageing property and it's a great place to stay.
