Coco Breeze Private Residence

We have stayed here three times. It is a lovely location and we enjoyed our stays the two previous times. This time was different. We had cash which we put in the safe in our condo assuming it would be SAFE there...not the case. The first Tuesday we were the condo. After the condo was cleaned on Tuesday, we noticed 350.00 missing from the safe. We did not want to jump to any conclusions thinking it was possible we had spend more than we thought or something. However, the following Thursday after the condo was cleaned, 400.00 more was missing from the safe! At this point, we reported it to the person in charge and were essentially told, "THIS is impossible!" Clearly NOT, as we were now out 750.00! We reported it to the local police who were quite nice and did not think it was "impossible." Obviously, unless there were cameras showing someone getting into the safe and taking the money...we can do nothing. That money is gone. It would have been nice if we had been offered SOMETHING, but we were not. We could have gone all over at the pool/restaurants etc. spreading the bad news. We did not do that. Why ruin anyone else's vacation. We were there another week with family and had a nice time. As I said, it is a lovely location we managed to have a good time, but were very careful about keeping our money somewhere else and having one of us there, when cleaning or repairs were happening. As I said, our two previous stays were great and I hate writing a bad review, but clearly there is a problem with security that needs to be addressed. We have traveled all over the world and kept money, passports, jewelry, etc. in the safe w/o a problem. I hope The Breeze can address this and become the secure place we experienced the first two visits. We probably won't be back, but I'd like to think others could enjoy a visit.

Our stay was amazing. The pools, staff, security, grounds and condo was awesome. There were a few minor things that didn’t work in our condo, but overall great. The bed was very comfortably. It was peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Definitely 2 thumbs up.

The property itself is very nice, lots of pools. There's a little bar by the pool, but it closes at 5pm so after that you have to get out of the property for dining and drinks. No elevators, if you're on the third floor you have to take your luggage up and down yourself, they don't help with that unless you get private transportation with the hotel. You can't leave any dishes in the sink but they charge for housekeeping. The brochure in the room said you can pay for the beach club per day, but at reception they said you had to pay a whole amount per stay. They didn't have anyone to help us with our luggage to get out of the property, so we had to walk. They also do pool maintenance kind of late, which is

We really enjoyed staying here. The property was clean, the staff were friendly and it was well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

The unit was dated and poorly maintained. There was no water pressure at all in the kitchen and washing dishes was difficult. The showers had only slightly better pressure. There was missing knobs on doors, and shutters had not been dusted in a very long time. The stove was also missing a knob. The refrigerator leaked water. The office staff were rude. We requested dishwasher tabs and the housekeeping staff delivered them while we were out and left our door unlocked for the entire day. Very unimpressed! Definitely not luxury, and barely passable as sufficient.

Very nice property The villa was exceptional. It was larger and more spacious than what the website described. I was there on business so did not get to use any of the amenities. There was a large pool - large enough to swim laps, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball court and a small outdoor carpet area for practicing soccer or personal workout. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach and very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The property is very quiet and it seems most of the residents are active older couples. My only small complaint was the check-in process. Fortunately, I took advantage of the free airport shuttle and the driver knew what to do. They do not take you to the check-in place but straight to the villa. I was glad I connected to the Wi-Fi at the airport because the check-in info (qr code for getting in and out of property and the code for the front door to the villa) was sent via WhatsApp. I literally did not know this until we were at the door and the driver asked me to check my messages. If they had not previously downloaded I would not have been able to get in. Once in, I did not realize they wanted you to formally check-in, My schedule was so busy I was not able to check-in or check-out since they were closed after business hours.
