Located in the Old Town of Baia Mare, Hotel Diafan features a 600-year-old wine cellar offering a variety of Romanian wines. The restaurant serves Romanian and international cuisine and provides a unique view of the town's old center.
Nestled in a Gothic-style building, the Diafan also provides a bar equipped with a fireplace. The reception is open 24 hours a day.

It was a big disappointment. They advertise on the website that they have air conditioning. They don't have it. It was 36 degrees outside and 50 in the room. They put in a couple of fans with no effect. It was impossible to be inside the room so we had to leave the hotel. They charged about 50 euros because we could stay in the room for a couple of hours. Big disappointment

Good location, very clean place, interesting architecture, very nice personal. The interior decoration is ok, nothing special. The fridge is loud, as so often in hotels and the pillows hard. The restaurant is also good. The breakfast is really good, better than imagined because you need to order it and you presume it will be poor. Listen to the nice waiter and take everything he recommends. The coffee is good, the breakfast is just gorgeous. I suggest them to present a sample of what one can get on a plate in the breakfast room. The feta cheese is tasty, the marmalade comes from their own garden, everything is provided from the region. It was a good experience and the best are the people working there.

Nous étions à Baia Mare en famille, pour raisons familiales. Nous avons séjournés 2 nuits dans cet hôtel, situé dans la vieille ville. Nous avons été très bien reçu par la jeune femme à la réception. Le petit déjeuner est correct, compris dans la chambre d'hôtel, nous avons pris aussi notre repas du soir. La situation de l'hôtel nous a permis de visiter et de nous promener dans les rues autour de l'hôtel.
