Residence Inn Fresno Clovis

I’ve been a loyal Marriot customer for many years staying over 20 nights a year mostly For business. I chose Residence Inn Fresno Clovis expecting the same level of trust and service but instead I was falsely accused of stealing a coffee maker from my room. To make matters worse they charged my work credit card without informing me, which could’ve seriously affected my employment. I quickly reached out and offered my personal card to prevent further damage while they investigated but what really alarmed me was the inconsistent explanations, first it was about blood stains on the sheets, then they said it was about missing silverware , finally it became a missing coffee maker. For someone that stayed with Marriott for years without any issues this situation was handled very poorly, there was no clear communication, no transparency and no real effort to make things right. It’s disappointing that a brand I once trusted would treat a frequent guest this way.

I came late the first night and notice that the toilet was not properly flushing, but it was already late so I went to sleep. Early next morning (6:30am) I went to the front desk and requested that this was fixed. When I came back later that day (7pm), I found out that the toilet was still not working and that the room had not been made. The sad part is that when I checked again with the front desk they lied to me and said that had gone to the room but were unable to fix it. I know this is a lie, since I intentionally left 2 pieces of toilet paper in the toilet (the toilet was clean) to see if they went to the room. Also after my complaint they sent a Lady that fixed the toilet in less than 5 minutes. The second day, I made sure to request that they made my room, I did the request at 6am in the morning, when I came back at 5pm, the room was still not done and they commented that this was just their usual timing for doing all the rooms. The staff was friendly and polite, but I do not like being lied to and having a bad service

Nice place to stay after the swim meet, on weekends it's pretty quiet for my swimmer. And full kitchen is pretty convenient. Love the breakfast 😋

The hotel is new and gorgeous. I would have never expected to have had a bed bug in my bed. I alerted the from desk. They sent someone up to inspect. He took pictures and said he would inspect the whole room. I checked out of the hotel and showed the picture that I took of the bed bug she apologized. I called Marriott on the 800 number while driving home. The rep was very nice, took a report, and let me know what I should do when I got home to make sure that I didn't infest my home. He also told me to call back to the hotel and speak to the GM. The person who answered the phone when I asked for the GM said she already gave you an extra 10,000 points. Like that was compensation for me sleeping with a bed bugs, and potentially having a bigger problem at home. I asked speak to the manager. I held for a very long time, then I was told that Kelone would call me back. It's 2 days later and I have not heard from anyone at the hotel. I had to buy beg bug spray. Isolate my luggage in plastic bags and spray the bed bug spray in them. The 800 rep told me to leave them sealed for at least 48 hours outdoors. He also told me to remove my clothes and put them in the bag before I go in the house. Once I am able to take my suitcase in the house I have to wash and dry everything at the highest temp. Kelone nor anyone at the hotel seemed to care about me, my fear, or my stress. I did not plan on doing a whole ritual to protect my home and property after the long drive home. I was not worth a call to say apologize for my experience. I was worth 10,000 points. That's not even a one night stay. It was a slap in the face. This is no way to treat a customer, especially one who is Marriot Bonvoy Lifetime Platinum Elite for life.

Amazing stay, very friendly service. Me and my family loved it!

After what we stayed in along the borders of the nearby National Parks this place was great. The property is pretty much brand new and near the airport with a Costco across the street for gas and a Target for all our other needs.
