We stopped here for a murder mystery dinner they were holding in the function room next door, a cosy modern hotel the rooms were warm and comfortable, the walls were awash with USB sockets, and the TV swung away from the wall to allow viewing in bed. My only critism I could possible level at the hotel was our room (31) had a motion sensing bathroom light, meaning if you tiptoe to the loo in the night, as soon as you get to the bathroom door the lights came on destroying your retina, and any night vision you had counted on for tip toing back to bed -which was a bit irrelavent as the light would remain on whilst you got back to bed lighting up the room and disturbing your significant other. Why did I call this review beware of the minataur? because the place is a labryth of corridors, and it will take all of your navigational skills and sense of direct to find your room, find your way back to the bar, and find your room again after a few drinks. We did okay at this but our neighbours apparently ended up in the kitchens when looking for the bar. The full English breakfast was top notch, filled with locally sourced produce, we will be going to another murder mystery if they have one.
