The Six Bells is a perfect base from which to discover the western end of the Hoo Peninsula. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was good, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Had 3 very enjoyable nights at the Six Bells and was very impressed with the costs of the stay and how friendly/helpful all the staff were. The food was excellent and its not often I can't finish a "Full English" ... will go for the 'Little' version next time :-) An excellent location for North Kent/Hoo Peninsula/Rochester & Chatham etc. Excellent value for money & really looking forward to our return visit. Very many thanks for having us.

Arrived and showed to my room by a very helpful friendly young lady, room was immaculate very comfy bed, came down for dinner service was a little slow but they were very busy so understandable. Again very friendly helpful staff, food was spot on big portions. Came down to breakfast and again really helpful young lady, breakfast was perfect! highly recommend this pub.

Pub hotel was perfect. We stayed for two nights when attending a wedding. Staff were so helpful and friendly even though it was so busy when we arrived. Food was delicious and cooked fresh. The room was spacious with a lovely big bath. We were able to have a shuttle to and from cooling castle barn which was a godsend. Staff were so friendly we would definately recommend.

Just got back from an overnight stay at the Six Bells Pub. We were at a wedding at Cooling Castle Barn yesterday. Check in was perfect (12 o’clock) as the wedding was at 1.30 and the pub offers a mini bus service to and from the wedding venue which was so convenient. Breakfast was lovely this morning and really filling. Can’t fault this place at all. Room was lovely and clean with tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries also supplied. Really can’t think of anything else they could do. Would highly recommend staying there!!!

Nice little pud with very nice staff, rooms could do with a bit of updating but it’s priced for what it is and the breakfast was excellent, staff all very helpful.

We found this pub after a lovely walk around nearby cliffe pools natue park and needed a pub lunch .We was very impressed with the service from kayleigh and the food served was very good at very competitive prices with a good choice winter menu. We were full up with the generous portions served here so there was no room for dessert but the lovely kayleigh boxed up a honeycomb chocolate cheese cake to take home with us this also being enjoyable. We would definitely revisit this excellent pub again

Great stop over for the local area
Great Place to stop over for the local Quarry where 1 of my site guys was working, good beer and food which was needed after a long days Graft

It's a pub with rooms above. The stair carpet and decor upto the rooms is shabby. Our room was OK but that's it. Yes it had nice touches with miniature cleaning products, a bottle of water and tea&coffee but....the room needs a serious makeover. The bedding is not good and I felt uneasy getting into it. The furniture is tatty and it just felt very 2*. However the manager hospitality was fantastic and the nice touch taking and collecting from Cooling Castle was very appreciated. (Although I feel there is a cost for this just hidden and built into the room cost). The lady who seems to do everything was very friendly and makes a great breakfast. She couldn't be nicer.
