La Tour Grégoire

Once we navigated the myriad narrow streets of Clermont-Ferrand we found ourselves entering a portal that allowed us to cross the centuries between old world charm and modern comfort. Up the narrow spiral staircase (best not to have a huge suitcase to lug) we found our "flat" to be spacious, modern, and comfortable. After an early evening stroll a few blocks up to the square and dinner we enjoyed the comfortable and cozy bed for a well earned rest. In the morning we were greeted with a wonderful basket outside our door with fresh croissants, yogurt, fruit, etc. to prepare us for another day exploring France beyond Paris.

5 stars, superb apartment! Amazing place, perfect location, tasteful decor and friendly admin. Easy to find, very central. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast being served/left outside your room was an excellent idea! Highly recommended this place. Thank you

Clean and great location

I booked La Tour de Gregoireas as I was driving through France and parked up in town early evening and looked at hotel options so it was quite a last minute booking and turned out to be a great place to stay. I arrived at La Tour well after 6pm and I rang the number to get the code to get into the building and the room but the phone kept cutting out. I got into the room fine and the helpful owner came back to meet me and explain about the room and breakfast which was really nice of him. The room was clean and comfortable and was in a great location being right in the centre of town but also in a very quiet little street. In the morning I opened the bedroom door and there was a little basket hanging on a hook outside which contained fresh rolls and a few different pastries. There are jams etc, in the fridge too. I had a great stay and would be happy to stay there again.

This property is in a great location and in the old town area. Old town itself is very nice but there are lots of steep roads. Definitely not an are for the mobility challenged. The same goes for this property. Be aware that there is no elevator and the steps are very narrow and steep. The room has good kitchen facilities and the bread basket that is provided in the morning is very nice. There is yoghurt, juice and milk in the refrigerator. In general it was a nice stay.

La tour Grégoire Découverte de Clermont Ferrand. Chambre très confortable et spacieuse. Très satisfaisant à tout point de vue. Petit déjeuner copieux.
